I dont mind dropping the 2 points, Yes it was sassuolo but we cannot win all games...

what worries me for real is our dependance on tevez..our lack of Vidal...Llorente{s form...and... guess what...

Well agreed we can't win them all, Sass are a difficult opponent indeed specially when they are at home.. not sure if I should blame the international break because it usually breaks our form for some reason.. Sass had all the time to rest their players apart from Berrardi and Zaza probably

Don't know why Evra started .. why Llorente wasn't subbed earlier.. why Tevez is all over the pitch.. Why Pirlo wasn't subbed earlier or Marchisio of Peryera.. why Gio didn't come earlier.. so fregging many questions running in my head.. oh and Ogbona :sergio:

Pretty ugly perfomance all in all, but hey, even under conte we did not play the most beautiful football, and we had alot of games like yesterday, so the performance and the result should not worry us too much. Things that amazed me though:

1) Evra is capable of performing good only in a back 4. So he starts when we play a back 5, and gets subbed when we switch to a back 4. Wtf .. ?!
2) llorente is a striker that thrives on crosses. Juve almost did not put any cross when he was on. Yet when he was subbed, crosses started raining ?
3) We only have 3 fit CB. so when we changed to a back 4, we kept them all on field, playing one of them out position, when we had the only geniune LB in the team subbed. Are you serious ?

Iturbe is an improvement on their team however you look at it, nainggolan has improved their team since last january and quite honestly im annoyed at how we missed out on him, astori and manolas - yes they may not exactly be to the class of benatia but they are, certainly of what ive seen of manolas so far very competent defenders, cole is an improvement too. I can't honestly say we've built on our success this summer in the same manner roma have closed the gap on us, don't forget they came 2nd with 85 points last season, that is good enough to win any league had it not been for our extraordinary record in the league last season, they will only go and replicate something like that if not better this season
Iturbe would be an improvement for us too. We still have our hands on Berardi so it's not that bad but Iturbe has been very good for them so far. Worth the money definitely.

We dropped 2 points. So what? We can't win every single game. However, the manner of the performance is worrying. We need to be sharper and far more aggressive on Wednesday. CL games are played at a faster pace and we can't afford lapses in concentration or mini brain farts.
The solution is easy once you won't be afraid of making changes. We simply have to drop Pirlo and Llorente and put there Marchisio and Morata as they play much simpler footy but also faster. Pirlo and Llorente both suck balls lately so it shouldn't be a problem to drop both.

Pereyra was pretty good as RW IMO and Tevez can play pretty much everywhere but he needs to have support, he can't do it all on his own. Marchisio as DM will allow Pogba and Vidal to play more offensive and Pereyra as RW should provide support for Tevez too.

IMO this is the best we currently have (considering current form the players present):

Buffon
Licht - Bonucci/Ogbonna - Chiellini - Asamoah
Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba
Pereyra - Morata - Tevez

I'm not a 352 hater but since Pirlo and Llorente are useless lately the 352 might not work properly. Under Conte those two were crucial players in the 352.

Oh and one more thing. Am I the only one whi thinks Vrsaljko should have been sent off for elbowing Tevez ? and if I'm not mistaken he also used his hand to stop coman's run after coman beat him near the PB !? No one talking about that now ? where is that retard totti ?

Totti is only loud when we fucked them hard.Just then.He never complained about exactly the same penalty like Pirlo's back in 2010 when he hit Pepe.No ,that was a clear penalty, now when we fucked them everything is controversial,But doesn't matter that we played like pussies yesterday.Awfull.Llorente should be benched for good. Not a single proper touch. Not a singe one.

I went full fake fan in this, I see we didn't win.

How was the game?
It was like a Conte draw from last season. We put them under some pressure, missed the opportunities we created, while they were effective in defending as a team. No standout performers.

Zaza with a sweet goal though, incredibly taken shot.

I really don't know why our horrible finishing isn't getting more attention here. Without it, we could've easily won the game 3:1, we really have to work on this.

So far we have been missing Vidal and Pirlo (injuries and form) which are our best two players. These two are the most influential players in the world in that position and both are our major strength point especially when we are playing the 3-5-2. Pogba's improvement is making up for them but if Allegri can get those two performing to their usual standard while maintaining Pogba's growth then we will be more than fine.

As long as Allegri can get Vidal and Pirlo back to form we shouldnt be worried.
Pirlo is no longer important in this team. If anything I would say Barzagli is 100x more important to this team and pirlo has played the last 2 games and we have looked like shit in both.

Same situation as Conte's first season.

Allegri is using Tevez exactly how he was using Ibrahimovic at Milan. Being too dependent on them.

We all know how Ibra's last year turned out, with Conte's unbeaten season. We drew so many games that season, with Milan being in the lead till the end. Allegri threw away Milan's title hopes that season, it was theirs to lose, and he failed.

I'm afraid that might be the case again, this time with us on the losing end. Roma seems to be winning their games fairly easy, passing everyone, left and right. If they don't drop points from CL fatigue, then most likely they'll top us, come end of the season.

I understand Vidal played two full games for Chile, but that is not an excuse to drop him out of the game completely. This would have never happened under Conte. I'm pretty sure Conte would have started him. That was a really weird decision. I hope he's not gonna get the Pirlo treatment from his Milan days by Allegri.

Regarding the result of the game - failing to get all three points against Sass, having one of the worst defense in the league and a team that conceded seven goals to Inter consecutively is a failure no matter how you look at it.

Performance wise, I thought we played well in the first half. Zaza's goal was a fluke, as he received the ball from a misskick from his teammate. Tevez did exceptionally well to run after the ball, which led to Pogba's goal. A beautiful goal!

Second half went to sh!t when Allegri changed the formation. The whole team looked so disjointed afterwards.

Pereyra was awful. His inability to pop in shots at goal is a big let down, despite his hunger to run.

Evra was useless. Added nothing to the team.

Sassuolo did well to keep Licht quite for most of the game. Guess the swiss train was out of gas.

Ogbonna was uncomfortable on the left side, and he really should have scored that chance he got in the first half.

We were playing similar football to Roma in 2012, admittedly Roma are playing better than we ever did in 2012. Then Conte decided to go full retard mode and make us play that shit 3-5-2 football. Last season we were just as bad but Conte's determination to win every game got us over the line a lot of the times.

Allegri already looks lost with the team, he wants to change the formation but for some reason he is afraid to do it too fast. I dont see us winning the league as long as our performances are like this and dare i say it we will get knocked out of the CL in the group stages again if we continue with this football.

We played shit against Malmo but nobody really cared because we got 3 points. I hope i'm wrong and Allegri turns it around but i am definitely worried.
