on current form, I'd like to see a 3-5-2, shores up our defence and gives our wingers targets upfront, more ball control in midfield and eliminates our useless full backs who can come on to lock down a result

buffon
barza-rugani-chiello
cuads-benta-marchisio-pjanic-costa
mandzu-higuain
replace manzu with dybala

Samp are gonna be tough, especially at home. They've scored 4 past catenaccio Chievo, 5 past Cagliari, 3 past Atalanta and 2 past Milan, Genoa, Torino, Inter and Fiorentina. We are gonna concede 100% the way we are playing so we gotta have our shooting boots on and hope we dont give away silly mistakes near our box or old man Quags is gonna dikk us hard.

If they don't close the shop the better for us imo. No way they are going to outscore us.

We are so gonna draw this!
We will start by conceding them a 2 goal lead and achieve a hard fought equaliser and then be pleased with it...
Max will present a mixture of starters and subs, with more subs than usual, as in 3 days we are going to los... ERM play with Barca.
Very bad timing for this match.Firstly because of the international break and we all know how we play after internationals and then Farsa is in a short period of time coming. And if we concede 2 we won't equazize.Sampdoria are in hot form.

Gonna be a very tough game. Sampdoria is really on a good run right now! while we're struggling too much lately.
Plus having to play in Genova has always been difficult for us.
And they concede 3 from Inter also.

Benatia is injured for Serie A but perfectly healthy for Morocco?

I personally don't have any objection to this.
I would also like he never joins us at first place and I never trust him when he plays but find it a little strange to play for Morocco while he was absent for us due to a injury.

And half of them will come back injured.

We should consider 433 very seriously. Pjanic is a completely different player at CM then DCM. He's just not fit for a defensive role in the 4231 lineup. With a solid midfield three of the 433 it's a really devastating lineup. Dybala reinvented as an inside forward to the right, Higgy centre and Mandzu/Costa out left. Dybala and Higgy to swap at time with Dybala up front and Cuadrado/Bernardeschi subbed in at RW. Someone like Bentancur could play the holding DM with Pjanic and Matuidi/Marchisio/Khedira at CM. This would surely tighten up the defense which recently takes more goals in then were used to.
