The two giants meet in the Eternal City on Sunday afternoon with the Bianconeri hoping to end Roma’s perfect start to the season.

The Giallorossi have played five games in all competitions and have won them all, scoring 10 goals and conceding none. The Romans were in scintillating form last night as they defeated Dynamo Kiev 2-0 in the Champions League.

Juventus on the other hand have had a mixed start on their return to Serie A. After trouncing Livorno 5-1 on matchday one, and narrowly overcoming Cagliari 3-2 a week later, the Bianconeri then fell to a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Udinese last weekend.

“It will be an electrifying game,” Del Piero stated. “The two teams are equal although Roma are absolutely the favourites.

“It is a small thing but when I first arrived at the club, we finished fourth in the league and then went on to do some incredible things. This season however we aim to qualify for the Champions League.”

The Golden Boy joined Juventus in 1993, when the club had just ended the Serie A season behind Milan, Inter and Parma. Sunday’s opponents Roma finished in a disappointing 10th place that year.

Of course Dp wont be benched, him & Pavel are the most important players in this match,we need their experience from the first second so that we can play along with a very strong Roma side.
We cant afford conceeding an early goal in this match,if this happened, then it will end up real UGLY.

Even if we were dominated in midfield,Dp could make the diff from a Setpiece.
Forza Alex

mate both our formations we set are almost the same in regards to personnel, with the only difference is Almiron who is not a very good defensive player.

I think we need to use the wide players as thats one of roma's weakest points imo, as their full backs are not the greatest defensively. Also they don't get the best cover from the midfield.
If Nocerino was fit to play I'd suggest :

-----------------------Zanetti

------------Nocerino-----------Tiago

I think 3 in the mid will close the gaps, and wont let any space for Roma , maybe Tiago and Almiron arent DM, but they'll help Zanetti in pressure and so

Maybe U're right that their full backs are weak, but who can play in the RW as Salih is the RB? and we all agreed that Biri as a RB in this game is suicide

Plus I see Nedved cant play as a LW anymore , at the end of the first half he loses all his fuel, like last game, cuz he made a big effort to do the defensive role

dare I say you are a hipocrite...you have done your fair share of insulting others, so take the innocent act elsewhere

I dont apologize for any of my comments about this inept coach, or how we have overspent on nothing more than average players

You dont have to torture yourself by reading my opinions, you could simply click on ignore...its pretty simple

Nocerino wont be fit for sure, the guy was just hit by a car,he will at least get a 4 days rest.

Their fullbacks are weak!!
They have Panucci,Tonetto,Cicinho & Casetti.
Panucci in one of the best Fullbacks in Italt if he is FIT.
Cicinho is very fast & very strong offensivly but not that good defensivly.
Tonetto is good Off & defen.
Casettiis showing some good signs,he is still young but he has never dissapointed.

Thank god Ranieri isn't stupid to do such a move. He'll do that and he'll be in crisis.
I know what DP can do.

I'm not sure the rest of the team is good enough to get the ball off Roma and get DP the ball often enough for him to be effective.
