-With Alex and Nedved out of form, 1 point is a good result. Our midfield was totally owned. I think Ranieri should let Alex stay on the bench and play with 4 midfielders, Alex was so disappointing today, almost did nothing, lost the ball so often and yes, same old story, too slow.
-Criscito was the one to blame for 2 goals conceded, he was out-muscled way too easy, this kid need to learn a lot and i think we should buy 1 cb on the january transfer

How was the second goal Criscito's fault?

Buffon 6
Stayed on the line too much sometimes, but everything else world-class as usual
Grygera 6
Solid.
Andrade 6.5
A great CB, by far our best. Hope he is not injured for long.
Criscito 5
Should not have let Totti turn around him before Roma's first goal. There was a foul, but it happened when he had nearly lost the 1on1 already.
Chiellini 6
Had one good chance with a header.
Nocerino 5.5
Too many terrible crosses, fought a lot, but mostly without luck,
Zanetti 6.5
Very important for our defensive play at the moment. What would we do without him.
Nedved 5.5
Always trying, rarely succeeding.
Iaquinta 7.5
Superb 1st half, a few decent crosses including the assist for the 1-0, winning often 1on1. A bit less active in the 2nd half, maybe because of the midfield, and finally, the goal.
Trezeguet 6
Did what he is paid for. Nothing more, nothing less.
Del Piero 5.5
I think his 1st half was okay, he passed the ball well. It was not the old Del PIero, but it was still okay. The penalty was just weak and he could not be found anymore on the pitch in the 2nd half. Should have been substituted earlier.

Legrottaglie 5.5
No good positioning apart from the offside trap. Often just watching the misses of Roma, not helping. He could've easily been responsible for a goal Roma did fortunately not score.
Biri 6
Not so bad, pretty active in the attack
Palladino -
A good, but too short performance. Makes you want more

Ranieri 6

Strange substitutions, but the 4-3-3 was a good choice.

biri wasn't good. Not better than legro from what I saw. Legro was solid, he stopped a couple of roma's attacks. I thought he played pretty well coming on with no warm up.

Slow midfield competing against a midfield that plays quick balls, and with our inexperienced defence and weak midfield, we were owned.

We are lucky that Perrotta failed to convert the chances
yes we were lucky there is no doubt about that but don't go around saying that Roma were not serious :disagree:...we are not Siena by the way...Roma is still chickenshit compared to Juventus

Exactly. People are saying we deserved a draw and we could've even won but Roma absolutely dominated us. They created chances at will and kept possession easily. Apart from our goals we had the DP volley and the penalty, nothing else.
But that's more than enough. This was Juve's approach from the beginning. Ranieri knew that Roma will use it's attacking power and he had to rely on counter attacks. It was working well until our defense showed its real identity. Two goals, a DP volley and a penalty could have won us the game had we had a difference back line, or central defenders actually.
