Jesus Christ. Who the fuck cares about this result.

We clearly cared little about getting more than a draw out of this match, as evidenced by formation, tactics, and not rushing Pogba back into action. We're +9 with 13 rounds left and very few tough matches remaining. This draw away to Roma basically clinched the scurry to and should allow us to focus mostly on CL. Roma would need to win every single remaining game to even have a slight chance of catching us.

But sure thing, let's meltdown about a meaningless 3 points that we don't need.

Reminds me a little bit of the 1-1 draw with Napoli (away from home) in the 12/13 season. A good result for us, but would have been much nicer having won all three points. We bizarrely let Roma terrorise us for 20 mins with a man less.
yes, i'm actually okay with a draw. but i just feel like we could've done better defending a goal against 10 men. this defense is going to cost us big someday.

Chiellini had a good game up until Totti went off as he could get tight. As soon as Iturbe and Gervinho went up top, Chiellini shat his pants, sat deep, fucked up and looked nervous as fuck.
It really didn't help that Evra was completely out of energy. The last 20 mins were like running on a flat out left.

I thought that this is the way to neutralize Dortmund but what I saw in the last minutes of the match, if we do this again, we are definitely out. It's a shame really how we invited them to the match, we started to lose our heads and Vidal immediately morphed to Felipe Melo. Lichtsteiner reminded me of Marco Motta and Evra was a copy of Molinaro.

When Garcia changed his game plan, Allegri should have reacted accordingly. Manolas was the MOM, by quite a margin.
Couldn't have agreed more

I knew we would concede since we went asleep after scoring, but thought that would be a wake up call and if not win at least we would start playing better but oh boy how much wrong I was. We went full pussy mode.

Allegri should stop being a pussy seriously, and the players too.

Fair point. It's just disappointing to see him play in this mindset when we have seen his previous fearless approach to every game no matter the opponent not too many years ago.

Against Cesena this point is valid but against Roma no, you have to give them credit for the quality of players they have, and the situation they were in they HAD to go for broke.
of course roma deserve credit for their reaction, to an extent they were unlucky not to have snatched a win but this is precisely what annoys me about the way the substitutions were played it just seemed like allegri thought he could hold out knowing that roma had put on 3 much more athletically able players whilst our players tired and failed to gain control of the midfield that is really poor man management from allegri's perspective, he really took his eye off the game at the most crucial stage

the defence that has let in 14 goal in 25 matches, and won us 3 serie a titles?

This is really poorly phrased. No one's denying this was not a good result but a win here for us would've buried Roma's confidence for.good and a loss here for them would've had an effect on their performances in the forthcoming games. And we had a massive opportunity to do that but we dint.
Id like to see us have a bit more of a killer instinct.Could really help us going forward esp. in terms of CL.

Not a bad result at all, but i have to admit im feeling disappointed for not getting the 3 points from this game, 3 points that we already had in our bag.

What wories me is not the result, but the collapse of the entire team after we scored that goal. Lets sort this problem out once and for all...

Who do we play next in Serie A btw?
