oh ffs, take off your DP glasses for one second and take a look at the situation from the team's point of view. I'm not saying that DP would have failed, I'm saying that Z-Z did a decent job, and those who are saying Capello should have played Del Piero from the start are making an incorrect assumption in saying that he would have done a better job than Z-Z
there is no dp glasses gray...maybe it's you that should take off your anti-dp glasses for one sec.each time one supports dp you think he prefres him to the club and his support is completely ilogical...of course we all support juve..if zlatan or zalayeta score i'd cheer for them...but just think of rotation system...during juve-reggina match i just asked why only zlatan isn't in this system?i just asked if this is rest, why only dp has to rest?and it seemd make you and paolo_montero mad that you started to post ironic comments about dp.we are all juve supportes and love it not because of one player and also we all know there is no player who is bigger than the club.

yeah, I hate Del Piero because I don't think he should be played in place of 2 players who in my opinion had good performances.. that makes a lot of sense

Because Zlatan's playing superbly, arguably the best out of all of our forwards. Sure, Del Piero's scored a few goals, but try to remember who set up 2 of those goals for him. I'm not saying Zlatan should start every single match, but people shouldn't have a bit outcry just because Alex is rested for a match or two.

Who said Del Piero is the only one to rest? You only say that because Del Piero was one of the players who was rested. I'm sure you wouldn't say "Why does Zalayeta hardly ever play" if the starting two were Del Piero and Zlatan.

i agree that zlatan is playing superbly but only in these 2 recent matches.against siena, bayern(delle alpi) and the other juve first matches of the season he sucked.i remembered here in many threads most of us,even in doubt if he was a good signing.maybe he didn't know italian football in his first days...but now he seems that zlatan who we knew before in ajax and sweden NT.i'm really happy because of this.but if he is playing superbly so he should play in the 1st eleven, tell me why when alex scored double and played a great match against siena,he sat on bench just that next match against chievo?we also saw a really BAD zlatan against siena but he played from the 1st minute against chievo...if the inform players should play, whu it doesn't work true for del piero?

and of course i won't tell them for zalayeta..as you know it's an unusual season for him that may be won't repeat any more.he is a golden sub...not more.

Exactly. Shouldn't a player be selected based on recent form?

I seriously hope you forgot that we played against Roma after the Siena match, and that you're not trying to manipulate the facts and hope I don't realise, just to suit your argument.

Del Piero played well against Siena, and was rewarded with a starting role against Roma. After that, he was rested because he'd played in two straight matches, which makes sense IMO (please don't ask why Zlatan wasn't rested instead of DP, because that's just Capello's choice and not a matter of bias; besides, both Zlatan and Zalayeta scored against Chievo so you can't really complain).

DP was rested against Chievo, but played the full 90 minutes against Bayern, while Zalayeta stayed on the bench for the whole match even though he'd scored against Chievo (but of course you didn't notice that). Seeing that Del Piero's played in a very fair share of matches, I don't really understand the reason for the outcry whenever he starts a match on the bench.

you know you might say am stupid or anything, but i couldn't sleep last night, i can't forget what the refrees did to us... even if it's about 1point , i'd die to get that,

it wasn't an ironic post you know!!

i am pissed too!!! :fero:

but,look at the bright side.
1)juventus didn't lose because they sucked even more than reggina
2)juve=class. they never do shit like reggina did to get the victory.... ;)

indeed they are tough matches coming up. If we can get through them decently enough, getting maybe 4 or 5 wins out of those 7 matches, we'll have done ourselves a huge favour.

that's kinda expected given our easy earlier schedule.
I dunno; Fiorentina can be a plucky team and might be hard to break down, while I'm afraid that if we want to beat Lecce, we might have to score 4 goals :scared: The rest of the matches speak for themselves, except for Bologna, who shouldn't be that hard to beat.

Fair enough, Inter and Lazio aren't in the best form, but I'm sure they'll step their performance up a notch when they play against us

come on gray...
with our defence in their best form, they won't be able to score THAT much as they use to.

all the teams will try to beat us,after reggina did.
see what's happening to greece?
albania beat us,and now everyone wants to beat the champions.
so,now everyone will want to beat the unbeaten and strong JUVE
