I never said he's the solution to all our problems, but it's ridiculous to make it look like you know a lot of football because you bash Del Piero. And then I'm looking at posters like you, Andy and Bürke. And for crying out loud, Beckham has been a great football player, he's just going through a rough time. It's not like he never was a great player as some of you are saying.

You're right, azzurri. Capello doesn't know how to use Del Piero. That's only because Capello's view on football is one with a lot of fighting, ugly football and a hell of a lot of fouls. Still, DP just isn't cocky enough, it seems. If your name is Alessandro Del Piero you should be arrogant enough to claim your place in the team whenever you play. In fact, you should let the team play how you want them to play. And so far Del Piero hasn't done that.

Capello = Totti
Lippi = Del Piero

That's the difference in their view on football.

TBH, I dont think Cappelo is a defensive coach. Look at last season, Roma scred most goals in the Serie A, 68, one more than us, and as far as I'm concerned, Roma played the most beautiful football in Serie A last year. But you know what, that just wont work for us because we dont have the players for it. We dont have creativity, we dont have Totti, Cassano or Mancini. I find it kind of funny when i read the comment of Capello: we gifted them the goal, but until that point the game was in balance. hmm.. the goal was after 12 minutes, so Capello thinks playing ok against Palermo for 12 minutes is a good thing or what?

IMO he is only emballishing everything, he knows that the team is not good at the moment and not many things working right, but he doesn't want to admit that!

I don't know how this season ends, but if we want it to be succesful the team must improve. We are going to face Real Madrid in near future (while they are getting stronger ever week, we are getting weaker).

But maybe we will regain form with players like Nedved back in the team!

For the love of god, so yes Beckham is a smart guy that plays the market. So what? He has been a terrific football player and to a lesser extent still is.
