FT, good win for Juve, another 3 points:)

Mutu was man of match:cool:

Zlatan was good in first half but poor in the second´.

Viera was poor in both as was Trezeguet

Emerson and Camoransei was so-so

Defense was quite good, only some small mistakes here and there.

Peace im out

Another lackluster performance however that is nothing new with this side...Palermo came out and took the game to us rather nicely in the first half and really pressured us into making mistakes. Del Neri wanted his men to play quick and exploit our usual sluggish starts and he succeeded to some extent. Fortunately for us no team is able to keep up the pace throughout the duration of the match and Mutu really pulled through for us this time...I have said it time and time again Mutu deserves a starting role in this team and he continues to show why.

For some reason our defense looked rather disorganized tonight and somewhat shakey in the first half when Palermo pressured us. Our right side of defense was especially suspect and both Pessotto and Thuram had off nights as well. After the goal by Palermo they lost some of their spark and we were lucky we got a few breaks with Mutu in the first half because we did not really create many chances for ourselves. The way Adrian was patient enough to wait for his opportunity to strike in the first goal was sheer class, and after that we started to play better...thats not saying much though.

Our midfield was terrible today and Palermo really controlled the center of the park better than we did, which is rather worrying. Vieira has not been the same player for some time and I thought Emerson gave the ball away too much in midfield as well.

Another thing that bugs me about this match was the substitutions again...Capello seemingly never wants to make any chances even though it was obvious we needed a couple. Pessotto was not doing too well out there and we could have used something another option up top in the 65th minute, not the 85th. People here make such nonsensical claims like substitiutions only cause problems or whatever nonsense, however how many teams never use any substitutions for fear of problems occurring? Makes no sense...if a change needs to be made make the change, it's as simple as that. Enough waiting for as long as possible..

Abbiati actually looked impressive for a change and made some nice saves today.

Pessotto was not very good tonight and made a couple mistakes that could have cost us...however Blasi would have been worse probably.

Thuram made some usual mistakes again today and if he continues on this path we need a replacement...one time he left his position in defense and rushed up to midfield where he missed a tackle, thus leaving Pessotto all alone with Makinwa at the back. The latter almost scored. Then Thuram missed a few marks which is never good to see...he needs to improve.

Cannavaro was solid as usual.

Chiellini has improved a bit however he stills needs to work on everything.

Camoranesi had a decent first half however disappeared in the second.

Emerson made a few crucial interventions in midfield however he still could have done a better job shutting down Corini.

Vieira was average again tonight and I hope he can regain the form of earlier this season.

Mutu was easily the man of the match as he saved our asses...deserves to start from now on...no if ands or buts.

Trezeguet really did not get much service however he hit the post once.

Ibrahimovic did not do much apart from do some fancy backheels which amounted to nothing most of the time. I still have not seen a response to the question I posed at halftime...

Del Piero did not do much however thats what happens when you are brought on 5 minutes from time.

Blasi shot the ball over the bar as usual.

Good win, but some points have to be highlighted:
- Thuram isn't looking good, it might be age thats playing the role.
- Capello should've taken out Zlatan around the hour mark.
- Abiatti was very good tonight
- Mutu proved that we can rely on him

I don't see us in the CL with Chiellini at LB. Imagine vs Barcelona and Messi. He's get raped every time. Let's put Rambo back at LB and play Balzaretti or Blasi at RB.

Chiellini makes too many mistakes.

You people should turn off your computer of something and watch the whole game instead.

Mutu did a magnificent first half. I would give him 8 for first and 6 for second. But 8 after FT because his goals were so important.

Abbiati astounding 8.

I will rewatch the game once more as I have recorded it. I was very frustrated at our defense. Palermo's offense were very strong today and overmanouvered our defense at many times.

Viera was wasn't worth more than 5.5 today. Probably just 5.

Emerson was good today. 6.5. Didn't do many offensive work but secured most of the balls that came in his way.

Camoranesi had some interesting creativity going on on the right flank and some great crosses. 6.5

Trez: A magnificent player when he scores but invisible when he ain't. 6.

Zlatan: Did a good first half with lots of interesting and unpredictable passes out of situations that would otherwise resulted in nothing. Better at not giving away the ball, better passes (lots of passes). Better behavior, he seem to be more sharp now. Had some very nice finishing. I like how he sometimes plays as an AM and picks the ball far down and works it with the team up in the field. Hunted the ball more than he used to. There were some negative things though, when tried the hard passes a little bit too much and sometimes they only reached the Palermo players. 7.

Cong for the 3points, thanks to Mutu......

As you can notice, I'm not happy with the way we played today, though some of you gonna jump like usually, sayin"heeey, we won thats what matters"...Thank god it was Palermo not Inter nor Milan....

First half was useless, didn't see what I really expected by the team, though Mutu deserve all the credits for that half....the same goes to Cannavaro who saved our asses in the 1st half.

2nd half was LITTLE bit, yep, only little, we shut down Palermo in the first 15min, but couldn't later, grazie to abbiati who was there in couple of ocassions..

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Abbiati- Brave, simply did a great Job tonight...not to be blamed for the 1st goal..6.5

Chiellini- Did couple of mistakes like usually, one of them could have costed us a goal but thanks to Canna, his 2nd half was better 6

Cannavaro- my 2nd man of the match after Mutu, he did everything in the game and blocked any player was in his face...like usually...7

Thuram- wasn't bad, but was was slow in couple of balls....Solid in the same time. 6

Pess- really weak, didn't like his display at all, did lot of mistakes, he's slow, he's certainly not like before, we need a real Repl back there....4.5..

Emerson- was solid like usually and helped our defence lot...6.5

Vieira- was also good, though he's always commitin fouls, he's recorvering them with his passes, thanks to his 2nd pass to Mutu which put us through....6

Camo- First goal came from him, but wouldn't say an assist, not a bad game nor a good one. 6 Just for the 1st goal...

Mutu- Man of the match, did everything in the game, scored two goals, dribbled nicely, wasted some needed time, I'm glad he found his way and form. Bravo Adrian 7.5

Zlatan- once again another poor performance, which didn't see him out untill min 40...Now whether some of you are gonna say I'm writing this is because of Dp, let it be, I don't give fvckin bee....He was poor, tried dribbling 3players in some occasions, always passing with his backheel...and making nonsense fouls....when he had good games I was there to give him good ratings and Celeb...So I hope lot of you wont bite me now...5

Trezeguet- did better in the 2nd half...almost scored when he first hit the bar and then when he recieved a cross for Del Piero...not a bad game...6

Capello- Dear mr biased Capello, I truely wish you would wake up one night and realize that Man Utd or Real Madrid really need ya more than we do...and Please dont come up next time and tell the press "Nobody is irreplaceable" Please. and for the hunderds of times, your 4-4-2 boring old fashion formation is never gonna work with the likes of the big teams....
