We'll need a good defensive effort to ensure we limit our own mistakes. I see this as a match where we control our destiny -- it's up to us whether we win or allow ourselves to lose it. Makinwa and Caracciolo are both decent forwards, but Corini is not playing as well as last season and the rest of the Rosaneri midfield is doing an insufficient job of feeding them.

Lucky for us that Palermo has been in sagging form of late -- just at the time we usually have our midseason sag. They're going to offer us scoring opportunities, and fortunately I think Trez and crew are in good goal poaching form to make a lot out of little lately. It's going to come down to closing down on Palermo chances.
