I understand the idea of playing more adventurous fullbacks, in order to create more width and crosses for two prima puntas...but...and this is a big fucking but to roll that dice when we are...Away, to one of our major rivals for the top four positions, accepting our midfield has been dramatically weakened by the absence of Melo, our most potent striker just died...replacing sorensen/grosso, both of whom are fit and most importantly MATCH SHARP, with two players who are nowhere near MATCH SHARP...is a serious error on the part of Del Neri.
The lack of depth in the squad is horrible, but can be improved as we are in the transfer window for another few weeks. Why not bring back pasquato????or ekdal????or giovinco??? Considering we need flai rin attack, we have two players with flair..and since returning from injury, la formica atomica is doing very well at Parma recently. We also need better options in the middle of the park...edkal???
I assume we will soon purchase a support striker, but it seems a perfect role for giovinco...or perhaps for martinez. DP seems more corpse like by the hour!
Not sure what to think about marchisio. He seems to do a decent job as a slightly wide central midfielder, tucking in alongside melo and aqui, but when he is asked to play in what we all consider a more natural role for him, he becomes a ghost...true enough, its a different role, but still, his more natural area.
two home games against very beatable opposition coming up. we need to arrest this unapalatable dip in form

Well its the rivalry and you dont need much motivation to take on Juve. Despite the fact that for several seasons weve not seen any glory, were still the team everyone wants to perform against, but mostly the fact that they know that this time, they can really beat us.. badly. That said we're the reason for our very own poor performance.

We need more players than they will sign this month, and its not an exaggeration to say that we arent going to make the top 4 this season, and will be lucky to get to 7th. There are too many teams better than us, and deserve to be ahead of us
