The game could have been played behind closed doors if they were so much concerned about the security.

It's all BS.

FIGC should punish the major by banning Napoli and forcing them to play the next 3-5 matches behind closed doors or away from Naples. Napoli had their representative when the decision to postpone the match was made (their general director was at the meeting) and yet that guy didn't consult FIGC.
This is piss easy for FIGC if they finallt decide to be fair and play by the rules. Either 3:0 win for Juve or if they want to be softer, ban Napoli.

There are now talks of moving this match till boxing day. 26th December.
The match should be played on the first available date wich is the 30th of November. Will now see if Agnelli have some balls or he sucking FIGC cock.

In another news all this shit mean that Juve that we loved are back and we are feared again and they need fake storms and Tsunamis to stop us :flag2:

- The decision was made without consulting the FIGC.
So?

They should have been notified, but if the local authorities say the game can't go ahead, they aren't in a position to overrule that.

A Napoli director being at the meeting doesn't necessarily mean anything.

A Napoli director being at the meeting doesn't necessarily mean anything.
They learned about the decision through the Media, they at least should've been informed about the decision.

And the Napoli director said that pitch was impractical and it was one of the main reasons why the game was called, but as the videos shows the pitch was in perfect condition.

“As is only right, the authorities made this decision for the greater good and for public safety,” said Juventus director general Beppe Marotta.

“We are disappointed, because we’d prepared for this match very carefully and were in excellent shape. Napoli took part in the meeting with the authorities and provided more details for the overall analysis of the situation.”

Some would say the postponement suits Napoli, who were tired from Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

“We agree with the decision to call off the game, because this could’ve become a very risky situation with more than 60,000 people flocking to the stadium,” said director of sport Riccardo Bigon.

“The state of the pitch was also at risk from flooding, so bringing all those fans to the arena we could’ve ended up having to stop play anyway.

“This situation absolutely does not help Napoli, because it adds to a terrible cycle of games for us. The most likely date to reschedule is December 14, so between Novara and Roma.”

I suppose not

Red, 8 hours before kick off is presumptuous. Closed doors or warnings not to travel would've sufficed. It was friggin EIGHT hours before kick off, anything could've happened in between.

I just woke up. Any floods then?

Yeah, I said they should have been notified.

If that's the case, there should be some sort of investigation.

The call off was on the early side.

Is there any precedent in Italy for playing a game behind closed doors in these circumstances?

And there has been flooding and landslides close to Naples. The emergency services will be occupied dealing with that and could do without having a match to handle as well.
