Has anyone mentioned that there is debate between the clubs as to the day to play the re-arranged match?

Marrotta is pushing for the game to be at the end of November - the first available date - which is when it should be played according to league rules.

Napoli want the game played in mid December, once the CL Group Stage is finished.
There are two available dates until New Year, which are November 30th and December 14th.

December 14th is terrible for us. It will mean that in some 10 days we'll have 4 matches, three of which will be away to Roma, Napoli and Udinese. November 30th will be bad for Napoli because it will come a week after their match with City and a week before their match with Villarreal, in addition to an away match with Atalanta in serie A.

As you said, FIGCs decision will make it perfectly clear how powerful we are in Italy today.

I have a feeling that they'll take the easy way out of it and schedule the match for 2012.

Why didn't Marotta keep his mouth shut :sergio:

Now we can't ask for shit since our brilliant director said how the decision to postpone the match was a great one.
It doesn't matter what Marotta said. It's not as if he was consulted about this. He simply said that he agrees with the decision as safety comes first. He obviously thought it was because of the flood they had canceled the match. It's not as as if FIGC will say "but oh, Marotta said it was fine so we won't do shit."

So the league has to take some kind of action against Napoli right? That's the only logical step to take.
