Don't see how Buffon makes it into the MotM poll.

Between coming out and missing a corner and pushing the Hamsik shot straight out to Dzemaili, I wouldn't give him a passing grade for the game, never mind include him as one of the best performers.

This isn't the first time this fucking Cavani plays dirty with us...

Fucking scumbag :yuck:
That he is prepared to stand his ground and give as good as he gets when facing Chiellini is one of the reasons he's so good.

Sure, he overstepped the mark a bit last night, but I'd rather that than have some pussy up front who hides when facing a tough CB.

Sigh.

He should have been sent off, yes, I agree. But our beloved players have done it before but no one here calls them scumbags, do they?
I got your point.

But you really should stop pretending to be blind for the obvious.

This is Conte's Juve now so no point in discussing what Paolo Montero did until 8 years ago.

Cavani has to prove himself not only as capable football player to be wothy of Juventus. Just look at Quagliarella.

lol blind to what point?

Why are you comparing Quag and Cavani?

Makes no difference if it's Conte's Juve or not, these things happen in football.

I disagree.

What Cavani did last night was stupid and irresponsible. He showed himself to be immature footballer, weak mentally who would risk getting red-carded and leaving his team one man down in such an important game only because of little provocation from opposition defender.

*Red said he overstepped the mark a bit. He didn't disagree.

Why is it players can't be rough as a tactic with our players but we can with them?

Makes a difference in a sense how tolerated such behaviour is. Conte wouldn't have been happy if our player did that.

I am comparing no one. Quagliarella is an example of a player who gets little playing time but that is not because he is incapable.

Two great players going head to head usually lock horns...just like Ibra v Chiellini. Nothing new here, guys.

A lot of what happens out there is mental and players trying to get inside other players heads. Nothing wrong with that, aside from Cavani taking it a bit too far. I'm sure there were a lot more elbows thrown in that match that we didn't see from our players but no one here will cry about it.

I disagreed with him because I think what Cavani did is not an example of standing his ground.

I don't think you would be considred a pussy if you don't punch in the face the defender who is provoking you.

I think we are agreeing that "some cheap shots" are tolerable whereas what Cavani did yesterday should have been a red, right?

Like I said, again, he should have been sent off but such tactics aren't bad all the time.

And I think it's absolutely foolish to claim that Cavani doesn't have the mental whits to play at Juve because of one incident.

Did Chiellini & Cavani shake hands after the game? Case closed. Good to see Chiello back. Rough it, tough it & forget it.
