I cant say that I'm surprised by this result. Ok, the odd goal may have popped in and that little bit of luck may have evaded us when we needed it most. But frankly, with all the plaudits Capello has mustered over the years, he's got another distinction to add to his resume. That being, of getting thrashed despite having perhaps, the best forward line in Europe.

The reasons are diverse, but none as clear cut as Capello's stubborn mentality. Which only filters onto the field in a more tangible way, through the players. I mean, Trezeguet, absolutely deserves to be on the pitch, with a goal in almost every match. Seriously though, what is the big idea (pun intended) of having Zlatan play 90 minutes if he's going to continue losing the ball to the opposition. What will it take for the so called Don to realise that giving Ibrahimovic the freedom and time to continue doing what he likes week in and week out, is only helping him become comfortable with his level of play in the belief that he's irreplaceable come the big game. What will it take him to realise that playing the 4-4-2 week in and week out will only make us more predictable, yes, even down the middle whether or not we have Emerson-Vieira holding guard or at least trying. All that, while limiting the ability to make the most of our resources, with Mutu and Del Piero both of whom make the possibility of a trident viable - which by the way, is the only way to bring down the opposition that would hold itself in the same category as us, both in Italy and Europe.

That said, who can argue with Fabulous Fabio, after all he's won titles everywhere he's gone. The only irony, I'm afraid is, he continually runs the risk of ending the season empty handed, despite having a team most coaches could only dream of.

so he will replace Trez with another striker.Zlatan is untouchable.
if he does that...and if zlatan doesnt show anything for quite sometime , i wish moggi can just terminate his contract for his selfishness

lets put it in perspective,it is simply a loss. sometimes a defeat can give you the wake-up call you need and realise its time to drop the useless swede

bash zlatan because he was outta touch tonight?
you people seriosuly need to start supporting another team.
What a load of rubbish...Zlatan has been "out of touch" for most of this season. Has nothing to do with what club you support.

Nedved WAS NOT THAT BAD! At least he fvcking tried, gained possession and kept the ball within the team. The same can't be said about Zlatan. Agreed, Nedved wasn't brilliant, but he's really not one our biggest issue. Zlatan's our problem.
Nedved was absolutely terrible. Like I stated earlier, he just brought our performance down.

capello comments

“Today I realised I have a remarkably strong squad, as we conceded a goal when Milan weren’t doing any damage at all,” he said after the 3-1 defeat at the San Siro. “Clarence Seedorf’s opener was a lucky strike and the others were on set-pieces, but we did well against a team on great form and the only difference between us was luck. We accept the result.”

“I don’t think our goalkeeper was particularly tested, as the only real chances went into the net. I told the lads that they are a really strong outfit. We knew Milan were good, but the 3-1 result was too harsh considering the overall performances of the two teams.”

“Milan went forward in bursts, but I don’t think that before the 2-0 result they were creating too many problems for us. They were aggressive and determined, but they weren’t dispossessing us that much, as far as I could see.”
Shut the Fvck up for once, Coach.

It's impossible to win every game.
Any another team, which has such an injury crisis, could never manage to win 11 out of 13 official games.
But Juve did it!
Look at Arsenal or MU they are losing just because they play without some of their key players. But Juve win thanks to Capello IMO

Other than his two assists for Trez and Vieira, he pretty much done nothing. Actually I wouldnt be exaggerating when I say, with his perfomance this year he is more of a burden.

Nedved will get a red card, soon. He is unfair against the other teams players. against bayern he hit sagnol and today he made some stupid things too.

Its not about losing the game. Its about how you lose the game, and why you lose the game. In this case, or any other case for that matter, I believe only Capello is to blame. His favouring certain players doesnt help the motivational levels of the team and when comfort sets in, so does stagnation. As regards strategy, I dont think he's an A grader, because he doesnt seem open to anything, including learning from mistakes. What we need is a more fluid game plan, with a more attacking third, which means introducing an additional forward for games against the big guns. Come Wednesday however, I'll bet my last penny, this formation will be as is, with Zlatan manning the front line, yet again. And Mutu and Del Piero warming the bench, when in all honesty one, or both of them should be out there showing Zlatan how its done.

Chelsea already out of Carling Cup.
Not the most important trophy, - one may say.
But I believe that Mourinho wants to win it all and his starting XI lose to Charlton on penalties
