Don't get me wrong, I think he is a great player. He's a well balanced CM, very technical, very simple/smooth to play, good shooting/passing skills, and like most Italian players with good defense skills. IMHO he lacks speed in his passes, pace and dribbling skills to belong in the Pro CM category, but here's my real problem: If he is so amazing, why is he on the bench?. 
I don't see the logic unless everyone on Milan's wrong and you are all correct. I'm sure it's amazing for you Europeans, but I see Southamericans players like this break out every year.
I understand his links with Juve and the goals he scored against
, but that's not a valid argument to place him above everyone else. Statistics and match videos are the most objective material you can analyze and he does not come ahead Vidal in many numbers.
