Can somebody quote the rule, instead of making assumption-based arguments? I gave a cursory look at the laws of the game yesterday and all I found were rules about when players leave the pitch by the ref's permission, that is to mend equipment, change footwear, be treated or cleaned for blood etc. I stand to be corrected, but nowhere does it say, as far as I'm aware, that a player ALWAYS needs permission to re-enter the field of play. How about corners? And free-kicks close to the line?
I would really, REALLY like us to do this. But we're gonna get universally attacked.

Unless the player has left the field in case of a decision of the reff , (in wich case he should considered expelled from the game , red card) , he will stop the game and will book the player , for the so called going out and in the field without his permission . The game will start with a free kick in the inderect position where the ball was in the moment the game was stopped
