Good result...as usual we play shit boring football but grinding out results like this keeps allegri on our bench. We will probably extend his contract over this.
I'll take that every day of the week. Kean did well to put pressure on their backline. Overall we could've done more, but they didn't really look threatening throughout.
He got mad when someone tried a through ball in their box and then someone tried to dribble. He said himself that we risked counter attacks from Leao and we should have made guaranteed passes in the last minutes, instead of through balls and dribbles.
To be fair to the players, they did control the ball very well in the last 10 minutes. Allegri overreacted.
nasty game. then again those fuckers finished 5th last season and are in the cl occupying our deserved spot. so screw them, sweet win, regardless of the lineups, performance, anything.

Allegri was right though. If Milan weren't as exhausted as they were from being a man down, they might have been able to hurt us there. We should have been taking it to the line and the corner flag rather than trying to score.
Solid performance. Played with the right attitude. It was probably prudent that we didn't press too high in the first half because of Leao, but that made it difficult for Milik and Kean. Kean's hustle was crucial during that period. Despite the effort, we still badly lack creativity. Still we're unable to create clear cut opportunities against 10 men. We need to find a class midfielder or we'll be grinding and scraping for a long time.

I thought he was also pissed because Miretti got fouled by being pushed in the back, and Milan player didn't get yellow. He was protesting way too much and too long for it yo be just anger on our players risky passes or plays.
The ref even gave him a yellow. It can't be just for yelling at your own players lol.
I enjoyed this game.
Thought it was pretty intense & we actually deserved the win, even if we could/should have done a bit more at times. But, considering the current state of the entire club, a win away to Milan is nothing short of excellent.
Special mention for the back three. Leao is one of the best players in the league, so it's only logical he's going to create something sooner or later. But overall our defence did pretty well.
