Hello, everybody I´m a first time writer long time reader. Just to say my opinion on the matter of Zlatan´s performances for Juve I just have to say that he is an invaluable player for Juve who has revolutionized our attack. Without him it would be one-dimensional, boring and most importantly non-efficient. His skills adds a new dimension to our beloved team which is at the moment not at it´s best. On the other hand, I do not think DP should be let go in the summer or at anytime, IMO you just don´t sell a player like him. He´s been our symbol for ll these years and he can prove to be useful in the CL where he has the experience. As for the game this weekend, I expect zero comlaceny from our players who should know how important it is to come in a game of such value as Real - Juve and have a win on their back. So at last all I have to say is Forza Juve, and Good times to everyone because for the next 6 days we will need them.

IceJuve, I agre with you 100 %... I think there not should be anti-Dp or anti- Zlatan fans, both players play for Juve and both players are important for Juve... its ok to like a player more than other but at the end we all should be Juve fans and has Juve fans we all should support our players...

About the game, I expect a win, don't care the score, I just want to win this game so we can focus on Madrid

i hope capello play with a 3-4-3 formation like this....

--------------------buffon-----------------------
--------zebina---thuram---cannavaro-------
--camo------emerson--nedved---zambrotta--
------------zlatan----trez----delpiero-----

and i prefer delpiero over zlatan because when both are at their best delpiero is better, but we shouldn't compare them bcuz they are on the same team....ummm, juve, yes! that's the team we all support!!!

so instead lets compare zlatan-delpiero-trez to ronaldo-raul-owen

FORZA JUVE!!!

Sorry but that is not a feasable notion. Was Zinedine Zidane a world class player at 23? How about Deco, Cafu, Shevchenko, and Ricardo Carvalho? The latter only became world class at 26. Not to make fun of your opinion, but it's just sheer nonsense. A stance like that is not very fair at all Seven.
I know a lot of players aren't world class at that age, but strikers most of the time are. The thing is that Zlatan seems rather limited to me. His technique can't become world class anymore, it's way too late for that still to happen and I doubt he could get any stronger physically. The only thing I see that could possibly improve is speed.

Why do we have to build the team around one player, especially a forward? Great teams are not usually built around one genious player unless you are talking about a player like Zidane or another midfield general. But a forward? I hate this notion of "building a team around one player" because that is not the right mentality, as in my eyes all players should be treated as equal and used as pieces to the overall puzzle. I understand what you are saying by building the team around one player, however I do not think Zlatan is the right player to do so and I doubt the Juve management share your views Seven.
I know you ought to think that way since it's fair and right way to think. In reality teams are built around one player. FC Barcelona for example is built around Ronaldinho, although of course all the other great players contribute a lot to the team and Ronaldinho wouldn't make it without them.

If we follow this logic of yours Nedved was the center of the team the past few years, and Zidane before him. I think if you are going to build the team around one player he must be a midfielder, and if this logic matters then Emerson will be our main player for the next few years.
No, Emerson won't do. He's a good player, but not good enough. It probably should be a midfielder ,as you say, but that's not entirely necessary, look at Inter.

I say we let Ferrara play instead of Zebina ;) just let him play against Messina to see how good he still is!

His technique might not improve but that is not something that great players must have. Look at Emerson. His technique is not that great and looks sort of ugly but he gets the job done and is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.

Zlatan can improve his decision making, his touch, his shooting and passing skills, possibly his vision, his football smarts and of couse football experiance. Most of those qualities will improve, and there is no reason why he does not have a chance to become a world class player.

Would Barcelona still be a great team if they did not have Ronaldinho? You better believe it.

If you think this really matters, I do not think Zlatan is the player Moggi is trying to build the team around. Frankly this whole topic does not really matter to me because its very abstract.

Emerson is a strong leader and sets a great example for the rest of the squad.

I doubt that. I don't think Zlatan is going to improve those things because then he should listen to other players and play way less individual. Which he simply can't. Then again, I hope I'm wrong.

If Cristiano Ronaldo can learn, Zlatan Ibrahimovic can as well. Its only a matter of time.

True. At one point in time I thought there was no hope for Ronaldo, but he has improved and I'm sure Zlatan will too.
