Del Piero should play in that role for the rest of the season, it might just save his carreer. As this role takes away the pressure DP gets from the media (and Capello to some extent) of having the duty to score every match, that pressure is what DP kills off.

+ I don't want to see a 3-man defence, as I don't think we have the right players for such a formation.

Actually I was thinking od 3-4-3, but as Dominic said, we don't have the right players to do so. I think that if Tudor is present, I would go for 3-4-3.

There's no way we'll beat Messina with that back four and I don't see us scoring a whole lot with Blasi and Tacchinardi in the centre and a DP-Trez partnership upfront. If we're going to rest Emerson then give Olivera another try in the centre.

Play Chimenti instead of Gigi....it couldnt become worst with this deffence...

sorry to say that ur Attacking nonsense Approach to the game won't happen ,,,

1-we can't play attacking game ( we lack fast wingers)
2-we use slow build up strategy
3-our strengh comes from our defence and definsive midfielders we can't change this mentality it is used since zidane left

that was away not at home with 3 attackers , it's a shame that we can't attack , but it's ok to win aswell , chelsea are 9 points above because of thier defence
