So, we will possibly play without Birindelli, Brazzo, Nedved, Buffon.

Camoranesi, Andrade, Chiellini, Zebina and Marchionni are definitely out. Almiron is gone, Crisicito, Olivera also, Tiago will almost surely be gone until Sunday. At least Boumsong will stay until we sign a new defender (?). Sissoko won´t be available for this one.

I can´t even make a lineup with this team as I don´t know who will be able to play. You have to applause our management though as they keep on sending players away with more and more players unavailable. It´s like they intentionally want to ruin Juventus and in the meantime talk about Europe and Scudetto. :howler:

We have dept as much as last season. This squad isn´t much stronger, if any. And the board said they will make sure we are competitive. I wonder what the hell is going on in their shallow minds? Bring some players ffs, immediatealy. The squad needs depth and strengthening. I hope at least 2 players come except for Sissoko.

It's officially : Buffon will not make it to Livorno !!

Intanto nuovi aggiornamenti riguardanti Buffon e Marchionni.

Inizio ore 12.45. Diretta tv su Juventus Channel

Well no need to risk him. Let him take his time to heal, and hopefully he'll be there for us on Wed against Inter, with a clean sheet :xfinger:

i'd say we play like this.

    -----------belardi/vanstrattan----------
    ---grygera----boumsong----legro------
    ---------nocerino--zanetti-----molinaro
    ----------almiron-------------------------
    ------iaquinta----------------dp----------
    -------------------trez--------------------

    ....in my dreams...

damn, how can i make a lineup not knowing who's able to play? never seen such a situation. so many injured players, how did that happen?

    So Buffon is definitely out.
I wonder if Brazzo and Biri will make it ?

Rab's formation (even without Buffon) still looks solid enough to beat Livorno. The bench may be a problem, but not a big one if Salihamidzic is able to play.
Brazzo can cover an eventual injury of a RB, LB, MR and with him on the bench we're even covered for CB because he can play RB while Grygera will be transfered to CB, while Palladino is there to replace the LM or FC if needed.

Damn these injuries. We can somehow survive Livorno but only 3 days later we have Inter and we can't count on Grygera there. Plus Boumsong will leave on Monday and all we'll have in central defense against Inter is Legrottaglie. :(

Here's the article from juventus in English for those that cant read italian.

    Buffon to miss Livorno game

The team are continuing their preparation two days before the away game at Livorno. The Bianconeri worked on the pitch in a morning session today. Both Nedved and Salihamidzic, who missed Wednesday's game in Milan, took part in the session. Zebina and Camoranesi carried out separate strength training and are recovering their condition in view of getting back on the pitch soon.

Meanwhile there's news regarding Buffon and Marchionni. The keeper's back-ache is getting better, but he won't be available for next Sunday's away game in Tuscany. However it's possible he could go back training as early as Sunday.

The midfielder underwent new tests after the ones he took on Thursday, and these showed that there is no recurring fracture to the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot. The player has however sprained his foot and will have to rest; he should be recovering within 25 to 30 days.

The other two injured players – Chiellini and Andrade – are continuing their respective programmes.

The team will carry out one more training session on Saturday morning before the away match at Livorno.

I would rest Neddy and Sali as theres no need risking them out against Livorno better save them for inter. Zebina, Camoranesi and Buffon seem the same way. I'm pissed that Marchionni is injured he has been an excellent winger for us these days. Chiellini will hopefully be back in mid february and I think somebody forgot about Andrade and left him locked in the medical room where he died after weeks of starvation and still nobody has found him.

    I would suggest playing this:

    ---------------Anybody whos not Belardi

    Birindelli------Leggro------Grygera-------Molinaro

    -------------Tiago--------Zanetti--------Nocerino

    -----------Del pie-------------------Iaquinta

    -------------------------Trezegol

Excluding Palladino and whatever keepers are on the bench this lineup is every fit first team player we have sadly enough.(unless Boum Boum decides to stay)

I know you can't expect most teams to have two world class keepers kicking around for a time like this, but for christ sakes, Belardi is awful.

I would rather see a young guy like Vanstrattan or Novembre go in, even if they're apparently no better... at least there's a chance they could improve. Belardi is only going to get worse.

Lineup is looking very lean... good job Secco. Idiot.

I think Iaquinta has better chance of becoming a better keeper than Belardi. Belardi's job should be cheering Buffon and defenders and keeping an eye on them.

Actually goalies tend to get more solid with age. But yeah Belardi is not good in anyway.
