Marchioni is a sub. And in most of the cases he can be useful, (when Camo is injured) Why everyone is on his case..We dont have money to buy better RM sub.

Btw I saw game Arsenal vs Wigan last night where Arsenal won 1:0. Coach which i respect a lot, Wenger in 32min replaced Nasri with Eboue..Eboue played OK, but towards the end of game , he made 2-3 bad passes, just like Molinaro do every game.. And in 90th minute, as supporters were booing, he replaced Eboue with defender Silvestre??? He could take any midfielder out in last 90th minute, but he took guy who he introduced in 32nd min..

What that move can do to the confidence of a player? That was shit move by Wenger..

Imagine now, CR start replacing Molinaro, Marchioni, Nedved, Legro, and all other every time they make some silly mistakes..

CR noticed Marchioni's bad day, but he let him play bit more, and than changed him.. Marchioni was good for us when we won 6-7 games in row wasn't he !?

Common guys, little respect to all players..Im sure he will be watching lots of videos tomorrow..

Forza Juve ..3 points is what we count tonight
Fucking hell.

Yeah, he could have taken off any midfielder, but he took off the one who was most likely to cost Arsenal a goal.

I think he also plays football.

Oh, and didn't you notice that he has you on his ignore list for more than a month now and he's not even bothering with you.
How do you have the nerves to keep replying to him? :D
Because somebody will quote it, so the freak sees it anyway.

I think Marchisio was our best midfielder today. Did the dirty work, didn't give the ball away easily and had a couple of nice passes.
:agree: he deserves his place in the first XI and I hope he retains it for the rest of the season, I would be a joy to watch him grow here, and he is already doing it, look at his delicious longballs today, he is growing in confidence and I'm sure he has a lot more to give.

Who are they? Any good?
wotch lozio gomes & u will know them , both of them r brilliant . however , i prefer de silvistry becoz he's italian , the other back is swiss ...

de silvistry was considered as a promising player among 20 other young talented players ,

watch the serb player (( kolarov )) as well , he's a good left back laziale ,

furthermore if they did score, then all you smarties would have told "yeah, i saw it coming ... you can not always be in defense and wait for them to score ... it had to be like this"...

that is quite pathetic
The mental approach, the tactics, the formation, the focus/concentration and the determination are all important factors that may determine a goal and a result.
In Molinaro's thread, you mentioned numbers to prove that we have a very good defense, since our records says so.
But the numbers may hide some things, when taken out of the context.

We use a highly defensive team, with limited creative abilities and better overall quality than most of the teams in the league!
It is only normal that we impose our gameplay and dominate most of the games against inferior teams.
Playing with 2 DMs and 2 defensive side midfielders, who form a second defensive line, it is only difficult for any team to score against us.
But this doesnt mean, our defenders are better (individually and quality wise) from the rest of the teams!
Our formation, our quality keepers and our tactics all favor our weak defense.
But there are teams, when our adversaries, go past our defenders and expose them.
This is exactly what the numbers you mentioned mask and what you may notice with your own eyes, if you are/were regularly watching Juve!!

Quality teams and determined inferior material teams, may expose how weak, our defense really is.
This match was another example, thankfully , not a tragic one!!
We played against an inferior team, with full concentration not to concede and use 3-4 player to create and finish our scoring chances!
In most of the the match, our team, easily defended as a whole and struggled to score, because of the limited attacking material.
We managed to hold them back and push them back with our offensive players threatening them.
Right after we scored and the lines relaxed a little, our weakness have been exposed, our last line couldnt hold anymore when Lecce, an inferior team, pushed forward with all their lines, because they no longer had nothing to lose!!

They knew they could barely cope with us and thats why they didnt pushed forward from the start. Because we are Juve and are better than them.
Because our forwards can score more goals than their forwards!
They were happy with the 0-0 draw. And they would also serve our defensive record. But these record, doesnt represent the quality of our defense
and when they were called to do that, they just did that!!!

Manninghers interventions also flatter them, we conceded too many mistakes, a quality forward would have turned into goals!!

I cant see the reason to lie our selves and deny the truth!
Our defense, is by far our greatest weakness, in our team.
This is a fact and an issue that affects our team as a whole.
A better defense would involve more in the construction of our game, up front, providing forward support and the determination and confidence to pull forward, with everything we got!
More tactical choices would unlock to us and the ability to face more and better some difficult situations...

Hopefully CL games, against high quality teams, will not give us a bitter lesson on that...

as in the other thread i said our defense is good (counting the tactics (offside trap) and sissoko in too).
i did not say that molinaro is a great left back or anything like that . . . if we were to strengthen the squad it is quiet obvious that it would be easier to strengthen the full back positions, but thats not the topic now ...

furthermore i feel too many people play football manager and think that all you can do there you can do in real life too.

like "ok yeah, we scored ... fast switch to the tactics screen and uncheck the checkbox "offside trap"" ... it really is not easy as that ... it could really harm the understanding of the defenders if they are used to play with the offside trap only ... you will be even more likely to concede if your defenders have to play a system they are not used to and though must always think before acting instead of just doing what you studied.

As for Marchionni, i ve always defended this fellow because i can still remember his brilliant plays in Parma.
Even before he was rumored to be a Juve player, i admired his potential.
He was a skillful player and under the right circumstances he could bloom into a very very useful player!
Maybe not overshadow the world class Camo, but still being very useful to our cause.
Adding the fact that he is younger and he might last more and further improve throw time. This made out of Marchio, a very good investment.
Unfortunately for him, his carrier has been halted and probably utterly destroyed by all these injuries!
Being young and after all the problems we had, we chose to keep waiting for him, with patience and risk paying a salary for a permanently useless player!
This was another investment there, a bet we take every year, but the odds are growing bigger and bigger by the year...
The option to sell was never really there, since no body will buy an injured player, or currently healthy player who played almost no games, at the previous year.
We balanced our interest and we judged that the Marchio was worthy of the risk.
But now this year, a few things have changed;

-Marchio is healthy and played a good number of games, proving to inferior quality teams, he is still there and available.
Possibly, still a useful player/starter for them! That would mean his market value has been raised and since we know he isnt growing any younger and he is bound to get injured soon enough, it will never grow up this high, ever again! It is the perfect moment to sell!

-Having all those chances, he know proved what he is really made of, no more excuses for Marchio, younger and less exp players, came in and proved, they can do A LOT better than Marchio, with half of his chances!
Marchio hasnt recovered the better part of skills and there is little chance, that he will ever will. If injury wont find him again, the bench, because of Camo will.
He is not that young anymore and there is no reason to hold him, the promise in him is all gone! This was his last chance to prove smth, the critical spot, there is only downhill from here...

-Juventus is now in a happily position to declare, that we dont need his services any more. We have the much younger and promising Ekdall available.
The older, exp and cheaper, multi-role Salih. Giovinco wasnt that bad at the RM try out.
And Camo is finally here to stay!
We dont need Marchio, look at the left side, we virtually have no options there, to replace Neddy and yet ,we still we bring no one there!
We will def not miss Marchio anyway, we already have players, who can perform better than him, or at least as bad...

-We have limited resources and a salary cap.
Marchio is a dead wood and if we sell him, we make space for one more player, combined with a retirement or replacement, we may be able to offer a better salary for a quality player. A player who may hold a promise, or at least a reliable solution! Smth, the injury prone, finished Marchio CANNOT!
Almost every single time we were forced to call for his services, we deeply regret it. He has been our worst player on the pitch, for almost every match he participated in. Getting rid of him will do a favor to our team.
And to our re-construction plans. A possible sale, may help us raise funds to upgrade our team, in places where we really need it!
