no, we'll choose better timing for that. :D
I hope his injury is not serious.. Get well soon Ale..
I think the timing is perfect. Don't we usually bash him after he saves us .. again?

that game couldve been like 7-0 . when your that close (camorenesi/kapo/zlatan) you might as well just toe it in, dont bother dribbling. how many times were we like 5 yards out but lost the ball trying to get open for a perfect shot

my fav part of the game was cannavaro's tackle where he just pulled back the ball through one of their guys legs :D

this match indicates we r lack of good finishing

we miss trezegoal
I don't think so......not in this match at least. Trezegeut would've had trouble in this soggy pitch as well.

Most of the chances were squandered because of the ball stopping short, players slipping....etc.

Match ratings by me:

BUFFON - Awesome. Missed one punch all game, phenomenal save at the end, coped superbly with everything Lecce and the elements threw at him 7.5

PESSOTTO - As usual for him, not always noticeable, but very very consistent, no mistakes, and got forward with a cracking shot at one point 7

THURAM - A couple of brilliant challanges but didn't seem to understand that you can't walk the ball about in these conditions. Overall not really that impressed by Thuram, he can do better 5.5

CANNAVARO - Absolutely brilliant performance. This goes back to the days where he was undoubtedly the greatest centre half on the planet. Superb, did not put a foot wrong and some of his interceptions and skill were just mind blowing to be honest. Worlds best defender on this form 9 MAN OF THE MATCH

ZAMBROTTA - Adapted very well to the conditions and realised when to just play it safe and hack it into the stands. Got forward when he could, overall very solid and reliable 6.5

EMERSON - Absolute colossus in the middle of the park. Dominated the game from start to finish, he was just far too good for any of Lecce's players 8

APPIAH - Actually did a lot better than I had expected, helped Emerson and never stopped working. A bit frustrating as he disappeared in the second half though 6.5

CAMO - The most irritating player on the planet continues to irritate :D How many time do you want to chuck the tv at.. the tv! Attempting to skin people in your own area with just minuted remaining is suicidal. Should also have scored but to give him credit, further up the pitch was pretty effective with his crossing and skill 6

OLIVERA - Clearly a very skillful player but never really got to grips with the conditions. Will be great to see him play in a nice stadium and conditions. Even still, made some super passes and runs, caused problame most of the day 6

ZLATAN - If this boy could only finish I'd have given him a 9. Awesome build up play, skill, plays the target man to perfection, all absolutely brilliant but should really have bagged two goals despite the conditions. Awesome work for the assist though 7

DELPIERO - Thats more like it, to a degree at least. Showed more skill than he has in the past three years in about an hour, and superbly executed the goal. Disappeared for periods but overall pretty good stuff 6.5

Subs all did well except tudor who looked like a pub player.
