We shouldn't have allowed a coast to coast match with non-existing midfield. But we were kinda forced to play that type of match because Pirlo was dead. That's a big problem. He doesn't have the legs and it's not even half season.
The defending all around the pitch was pretty bad and our counters are again a problem. We create more chances or good positions to create a chance than any other team, and we fail to score a lot.

Marrone has to come into contention soon, at least for the short term, Pirlo is class but more performances like that and he becomes a liability. Or we sign a vice-Pirlo.

Still, we played at 6/10 for most of the game and still won. Last year we would surely have drawn or lost here.

dude please he made the run but it wasnt because of skill or killer instinct that he scored the ball fell to his head and he put it in. Maybe if you got off youre knees blowing matri you could be objective

I must have been watching a different game to the rest of these folks if Matri was horrible/worst player on the pitch. Just because the keeper saved two of his shots at the end, I think people are getting a bit worked up. I generally thought he lead the line pretty well and also chipped in with a couple of nice crosses and also put a sweet through ball to Marchisio right at the beginning of the 2nd half. Oh and he scored our winning goal. Yep, shittest player on the field.
