The modern myopic mindset of “must always have possession” football. Quite a few all-time great sides played on the counter frequently. Ya know?

We beat Lazio 3-0 already this season with 40% possession. It wasn’t some fluke. Shots on target were also 9-3 in our favour. Lazio was lucky they didn’t lose by a bigger margin.

When we beat them 1-0 in Coppa, we again had 43% possession and shots on target were 5-1 in our favour.
you typed all that but none of this changes the fact he said 35% possession and your post was about 40% + posession

Dangerous midfield but the rest of Lazio is so meh. Some cred for Sarri for sitting third (second) in the league. I mean, look at that front and defensive line. Zaccagni is good but I am not certain he would cut it in a top team.
Since I barely get to watch football these days I've only occasionally taken part of match summaries of Lazio. The few times I've had, they have regularly had fairly little possession, is that a regular thing for them? They've only conceded 19 times so it seems to be a defensive side under Sarri. Is it because they are so poor that Sarri simply let go of his principles and tried to make the most of the mess?

Calm your tits. Man, you're so easily triggered these days - you're worse than me. What happened to your calm and composed demeanor?

I wasn't actually being entirely serious with that post :D :b81:
