I dont have a problem not playing CL. The way we are it seems it will take years to compete there. But Europa League is just glorified Coppa Italia. I dont give a s--t about it. For teams like Tottenham and Manutd who are 15th and 16th its a good enough competition. Maybe for Atalanta last year cause they will never do anything in CL anyway.

I just know that it will hurt us next year in league too if we have this EL crap to think about. The managers dont have balls to just play team B or youth team there then.

Kalulu definitely hit him in the face, but I believe they need to be sure of the intention in order to give him a red card. I wasn't convinced from the replays.

If conte is coming, I can guarantee you he will sacrifice the EL. We need to be honest with ourselves and just focus on fixing our league form. Becoming strong in the league once more, will help us in the long run. Right now we are behaving like a midtable team with ambitions of trying to make it to the Champions league, it's so pathetic.

Meh, if Kalulu's red card turns out correct, I don't have any objections about the ref. Perhaps a yellow or two more to the Lazio players, but the rest was ok. We deserved each and every one of our yellow cards, their "penalty" was a clear foul by Di Gregorio.
The 7 minutes were ok too. The red card and their "penalty" required VAR. There were so many breaks for substitutions etc.

We never got a clear replay but he raised his hands. It looked like very little, probably an open palm clip without force. The Lazio striker completed milked it and simulated the situation.

But...

When you raise your hands you give the ref an opportunity to give a red. At Juve you know that is unlikely to go in your favour. It was idiotic from one of our more experienced players.
