That's why i said in my fist post here that all we need to beat this Lazio is Sissoko-Zanetti partnership.
Exactly, Lazio CRUMBLES at the slighest pressure in midfield. Inter ran them ragged by simple physical challengers, Gattuso alone own their whole midfield trio by running nonstop. I am optimistic about this game because stopping their fragile midfield is half the battle won, their attack can do little if they dont get support.

Though Lazio are better then last season, better equipped with Zarate and the has gelled more, but their defence is VERY open to counter attacks, and we like to counter quite a bit, hehe. Their attack is quite daunting to handle, but all in all, I am quite optimistic about a win because tactically we HAVE their number so to speak.

Btw, I hope we POUNCE on them as much as possible in the first half, they are notorious slow starters, often suck at the first half, and are quite good in the second half. Dont know why, but almost allways the case.

Also i have to say I do not rate Mobido Diakite at all. I don't understand why we're linked to him and why he's rated so highly in the media. Everytime I've watched Lazio he's been average at best. He's scoring an own goal tomorrow. You heard it here first.

Meh, he is decent, not Arsenal good, but not bad at all, I havent heard him being hyped in the media. Dont judge him on one own goal for Inter :p

He is just 21, and mainly been solid for Lazio's calamity defence. But yeah, Rozenhal is their best defender.

Lazio's last game he was at fault for Bianchi's goal too iirc. Anyway like i said, i hope we don't pursue our interest.

This game will serve as a good game for Buffon to train his reflexes and get himself conditioned to Seria A games, which he has tp be highly focused on the next opponent, Fiorentina.

Juventus should play the team that defeated Catania in midweek. Giovinco will definitely be tough to handle for the Lazio midfield, and with Zanetti and Sissoko bossing the midfield, Juventus will have a high chance of winning this game. Alex and Amauri are on form, and I hope both of them will score a goal to go for the title chase.

Prediction

Lazio 0 Juventus 1

And I assume that Salihamidzic and Poulsen are still out also? So either it's Ariaudo again or;

Molinaro - Mellberg - Legro - De Ceglie

From right to left.

Prediction

Lazio 0 Juventus 1
I doubt it.
We will have to completely cut off their trio up front and we'll have to miss a lot of chances for this result to happen. Tough midfield battle and very strong defense on both sides is also needed for the result you predicted.

I predict a Juve win with many goals, just like last year when we won 3:2 and 5:2 respectively. Lazio have even more weapons in the attack than last year (Zarate) but they lose a man in midfield and we easily won the midfield battle even when they had 4 men there.
With so much fire power on both sides and with the defense being both team's weaker part, it's tough to expect a result like 0:1

As for Giovinco starting the match, i really doubt it. Ranieri will go with Nedved because he will try to stop Lichtsteiner's runs. Molinaro will have hands full with Pandev on the left side and Ranieri will try to prevent a Lichtsteiner-Pandev combo on Lazio's right side vs Molinaro alone.

I would play the exact back 4. Put Molinaro on the right and push Olof next to Legro. We'll be good.

I don't think we are conceding a goal. 1 at maximum maybe but for sure not more. We have the best defense in Italy although two of our starters wont make it but we are still good and we've conceded 1 goal in the last 3matches.

Ranieri has done great organizing and improving our defensive line.
