Ranieri GO HOME...Puting Sali on the DM spot, WTF!? Sub DP in 2nd half? Not playing three up front??? What is this guy thinking?? Stupido
He is not right 4 US and don't get me started on the FUC*** board (Secco-Franchy and Gigli)...

Ranieri should "get" us to CL and than, BAY BAY...
Then get a young, ambitious, fire in his belly coach (likes of Silvio Baldini- Pasquale Marino or Cesare Prandelli-Luciano Spalletti)...

We should now be concentrating (put all of our attention and energy) on COPPA and on CL places...possibly on 2nd and 3th place... That is it for this season guys, sorry...

I'm soo mad... :( i'm gona :inter:

I am starting to get sick of Ranieri. I won't call him Ruinieri yet but he needs to up our game or face the axe. Ok i get that Grygera can't be judged after this match because he wasn't tested but he is certainly better than crapsong and you a stubborn idiot if you count out Molinaro. No offensive threat my ass and when he beat three players coming into samp's box were in the bathroom? his crossing needs to be improved but he was certainly more of an offensive threat than iaquinta today.

Personally I think the key of us not winning today was subbing Del Piero. Alongside Nedved he was our most craetive player (he is always our most creative player). The most dangerous play of the game (the marco miss) was started by a brilliant fast and accurate pass to Nedved, who brilliantly delivered the ball to Marcchionni.
I was shocked when Del Piero get subbed. Unless, there is something we don't know (fitness?? Injury??) take off Del Piero was completely an act of insanity.
We were better off not doing any sub than the DP/Iaquinta swap.

That is said today there were at least 2 occassions where we should've been awarded penalties.

1- The Macchionni Tackle.
2- The Trezeguet Challenge.
3- The Legro grasp/hit (I think it was the last corner or the one before of the match).

One of them could've easily awarded us a win, 3 points. We have been heavily challenged by "ref mistakes" this season.

As far as playing Brazzo as a central midfield instead of Tiago or Almiron, there might be a reason behind it. And I think the reason is clear.

I would prosume that during training both are not doing well with the team. Even more, when they were asked to play they did not perform well at all. Tiago was terrible in the last two games he started and Almiron disappeared after 2 good games at the begining of the season.
Brazzo might be too defensive for the game we want to play, but at least he is doing something. Ranieri was the one who purchases both Tiago and Almiron, so he must have wanted them. And he must have a very clear reason why he is not playing them.
From what I've seen from Tiago and Almiron with us (which I agree was not much), I don't think they can do much to our team.

I agree its a good post Vinman except the pk part. Please use your eyes and dont be so biased. They were perfectly correct decisions. Not close to being controversial. Just because refs make bad decisions elsewhere doesnt mean others shouldnt do their job properly.

The ref was exemplary in this game.
I defanetly don't agree with you there. I feel we deserved those penalties especially more than Mutu's double dive act yesterday. The ball may not have fully crossed the line but Ronaldo's first goal against Napoli wasn't any further over the line and it was give.

you don't even have to compare with mutu. the marchionni one was a penalty.

pity that some people lose any touch of reality by their pragmatic interpretation of some rule. yes the defender 'touched' the ball but i would advice them to look beyond that and notice that marchionni still would have been through if that sliding hadn't taken him down.

just because the penalties in the fiorentina match yesterday were undeserved doesn't mean that we should have gotten the penalties today. i' glad that we didn't get the penalties actually. i only want them if we deserve them. plus, if we won the game with a penalty, it might have covered up the team's incompetence.

edit- i forgot about the marchionni one but the trez one was correct.

The Marchionni decision was correct. It wasn't a penalty because the defender tackled the ball first without impinging on our player.
It was debatable. He did get the ball yet his legs sandwiched marchionni and a penalty might have been rough but i think it could have gone either way.

No, it wasn't a penalty.
It was a clean challenge on the ball and the rule is clear about this, we're not freely interpretating the rule.

Why is it that after every single match we play there are some who always complain about the refereeing. It doesn't even matter if there was a bad decision in our match... people will complain about poor decisions in another match and expect some sort of compensation.

It's sad that we now have to rely on the referee to help us win matches. How ironic.

I first thought that it was a penalty but the replays show that was clean tackle and good referee decision. Referee is not the one to blame , we should blame our selves for not converting those 100% chances we had in the first half. Ranieri ruined the second half with his stupid decisions.

tbh i am pissed because of the DP sub, wtf did iaquinta do? nothing, we should have left him on till atleast the 70th min and after he was gone the creative spark we so desperately need was gone.

but tbh many people expected us to lose so they can call this a good result then :D

Let the slide down the table begin....

I will keep this short and sweet, as it seems like we are talking about the same things over and over again each week

Before I do, let me pose this question to everyone here, and lets all take a few moments to think about this, and how bad things are becoming-

We had an outside midfielder/fullback playing in the center of the midfield today while two expensive central midfield signings were sitting on the bench....what the fuck do we have going on here ??

On to the game, and there's plenty of blame to go around today-

- we could blame Marchionni for the absolute miss of the season, that I'm pretty confident any of us could have and would have converted (even donnanocerino :p )

- we could blame the ref for not awarding us at least one penalty for the two that he waved off...I saw much weaker ones awarded in the last few weeks to Fiorentina

BUT, the biggest blame for this pathetic performance is SOLELY on the back of one Claudio RUINeri

Could someone please explain to me WHY DP was subbed off at halftime, when EVERYONE knew the right move would have been replacing Brazzo with Iaquinta, and switching to a 4-3-3 ??

Its bad enough we couldnt find the net in the first half (see Marchionni), and we continue to try to play like a half-fast EPL team, but after DP was wrongly subbed out, we had NO effectiveness in the second half, and resorted to a bullshit long-ball game, which never works !!

The only positive from todays game was that Cassano didnt play, and thankfully our defense was never tested !!

2 things need to happen NOW to ensure CL qualification for next season-

1) We need Diego or VDV NOW to help this midfield

2) We need to sack RUINeri NOW !!!!

otherwise, this will be a wasted season, as we will finish 5th or 6th
Agreed except on the penalties and sacking Ranieri. The penalties were very good decisions and we all know that changing a manager in the middle of the season is not a healthy step.
