First of all the issue is puzzling together a back four for this weekend. And secondly, having Zebina in the centre is a downgrade even to Boumsong.

Almiron - Dario Campagna - Nedved

Iaquinta - Trezeguet - Del Piero


Grygera plays best at right-back and Dario Campagna is the captain of the Primavera (I think). I mean, if we want to use Zanetti in central defense, we won't have anybody who could provide any steel in midfield for the match this Sunday. Campagna at least can tackle... I know that. Almiron used to be a good passer, Nedved will provide the fight in midfield, and Campagna has Zanetti behind him directing him. Unless we want to use Tiago and Almiron in central midfield, that is really the only option we have if we were to use Zanetti at the back.

It's pretty obvious that this will be a high scoring game, I would be shocked if sampdoria don't score. The only thing we have going for us right now is that I don't think any team in serie a can outscore us. If samp. want to play an open styled attacking game we'll be more then happy to oblige.

Zebina also plays CB, i think he will slot in next to Legro/Grygera...Sali to continue as RB and Molinaro at LB
