I am in most ways pleased with result and gameplan. The defence is havinh a hard time, so i understand why we played with low risk. Thumbs up for
  Bonucci, Pepe, Aquilani, Quagliarella, Soerensen, Del Neri

And i think the reason why we dont manage to control the game, is because of a few players who dont have the confidence to play possesion. Melo, Amauri, Iaquinta and all of our defenders looses the ball way to often.

But Del Neri is number one to me at the moment.
In Del Neri i trust:juventus:

Roma quit after our 1st goal. We didn't step on them. Our counter-attacks were slow and timid when up 1-0. We could have killed the game before half but we let up and then the penalty brought them back into the game. I swear they had already quit. Their midfield was walking.

Our passing in the 2nd half was brutal and im sad to say i cant remember ever seeing Del Piero play so bad. Sorensen was really impressive defensivley but when in possesion looked nervous and his passing was poor same goes for Traore. Aquilani had a spell in the match were he was brilliant then faded and Chiellini is a monster. Melo, IQ and Quag weren't their best but Pepe came to life towards the end and i liked his Desire. Fuck the ref and fuck Roma this was a high tense match that i really wanted us to win but i'll settle for a point considering our circumstances... Forza Juve

Personally, I think he's done well. No major or noticeable minor mistakes.

I don't think Mexes deserved a penalty and the penalty decision was totally legitimate, a clear hand block by Pepe. As Blundo said in the live thread, we had a similar penalty against Chelsea a couple of years ago, no one was complaining.

Grosso - 5.5 - did alright from what I can remember, although nothing really stood out, negatively, or positively. perhaps someone can refresh me, in this respect?

Traore - 4.5 - out of his depth, clearly. he was, honestly, a deer caught in headlights much of the time. at one stage, he was near the byline, immobile, while a team mate desperately looked for him to move into space to receive the ball. made a fantastic tackle on Vucinic, I think it was, though. maybe with a run of games he'll settle down, but I have my reservations.
This is wrong in my view. Although Traore don't play a good match.. I thought he was better or at least a par with Grosso.. In 1st half we are vulnerable at left side.. You can see how many times Casetti, Totti, Menez exposed and make a threat starting there, so when i see DN made subs with Traore replacing Grosso, i think DN realize it.. And in 2nd half we stand better in defense and only 1 chance from Menez cross start there when there is no Roma players in our box.

i can't believe Iaqunita missed that first assist by Quiaglarella, anyone else would've eaten that up. His second goal was great. Every game is a reminder of how much we miss a quality striker.

perhaps the penalty somewhat killed the team spirit yes but our midfield just stopped functioning in the second, mainly melo who had a bad game and aqua who faded away, that's what I think anyway

btw just saw Iaq goal , that was outstanding goal
and i do agree , Aquilani had a very good game for us , shame he doesn't have a good stamina to keep it up for 90 minutes , Pepe also did very well , Amauri offered us zerozerozero ( read : null ) AGAIN !

does someone have Sorensen's clip for yesterdays match ?

Mexes: 'Roma superior to Juve'

Philippe Mexes maintains “Roma were superior to Juventus on the night” and deserved all three points.

The Giallorossi only managed a 1-1 draw at the Olimpico in Turin with Francesco Totti’s penalty cancelling out a Vincenzo Iaquinta opener.

“Roma were superior to Juventus on the night. We conceded a goal that could’ve been avoided, but then gained confidence and took control,” said the defender.
