Quag should have had a goal today. No doubt about that.

Pepe played well, but obviously we miss Krasic quite a lot out there.

Del Piero had one of the worst performances I've ever seen from him.

Three problems

1- Very limited vision we have, even Aquilani has a limited vision on the field and doesn't always read the game well.

2- Our flanks

3- Winning mentality.
1- true
2- left flank
3- we couldn't do more in the last 20 minutes..we were dead.. it should've been 2-0 at ht...we used to finish those kind of opportunities (well trez used too..)

i'm starting to think that we need to start with alex as much as he can then sub him in the 60th minute... he really isn't that super sub.

I don't think we played THAT badly tonight. We weren't good per se, but it was pretty even out there - I think our midfield was our undoing in the second half, Melo had a bad game and Aqua went quiet.

It depended on the opponent. In today's match I don't think it would have made much difference if Del Piero played 5, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. Our midfield was inferior and we depended on crosses and long balls. Iaquinta is the most stupid player who misses 9 out of 10, but this was a perfect opponent for him. He knows how to escape from the defenders, he moves a lot in the box and was hard to handle. He was our only chance to win against a team that controlled the midfield and the match.
Del Piero stood no chances today.

I don't think that limiting players to minutes is a solution. We should pick the attackers depending on the opponent. On some matches DP will be 10 times more valuable than any of the other strikers. On some Iaquinta will be much more valuable than DP.

Aqua was clearly destroyed by the 70 minute mark, he was done. Pepe could have kept going all night, he impressed me, his crossing was alot better than it has been all season, but we miss Krasic big time.

Del Piero was shocking when he came on, but id rather have a useless Del Piero than Amauri anyday of the week. Traore doesn't look too promising to be honest. Iaq should have scored 2, we desperately need a new striker come January.

Roma did not really threaten us,and they would take the draw and we really just let them..bad attacking play, melo and marchisio was really dull tonight,no spark coming from them, and aquaman was just doing all the work,he was tired, and pepe did really well, but he is a limited player,he needs a lot of support and was not getting that tonight, but a very good performance by pepe nonetheless..Ale was not himself today, there was no will to win at all,i would have rather see sissoko had i known delpiero was such in a poor mood..quag was good, amauri was still useless but he won alot of headers.. i really had wished that quag strike went in,its about time we have a quag spectacular goal..

oh well,we really should and really could have won this game..
I fuckin miss Milos!!

I am simply gutted, we should have taken our chances in the first half and played a much calmer approach in the second. Our rush for the win was obvious, we had very hasty decisions and were simply ineffective.

Storari 6.5 Had some good saves.

Sörensen 6 Much better than Motta
Chiellini 6.5 Solid
Bonucci 6 Had some hasty passes but otherwise ok
Grosso 5 Didn't offer much

Pepe 6.5 Good game overall
Melo 5.5 Not his day
Aquilani 6.5 Started slow went then to dictate the match and in the end disappeared
Marchisio 6 I don't know how we can use him in the middle but he is not being himself on the left

Iaquinta 6.5 Great goal
Quagliarella 6.5 Really active, such a shame he couldn't score tonight

Traoré 5 No confidence at all
Del Piero 5 Not his day
Amauri N.R

The MOM goes without a doubt to Mexes

We will get back on track when we get Krasic back into the squad. I think we lost the midfield battle tonight and the only thing that saved us is our defenders fighting for every ball.

Storari - 6.5 (Very good stop on Menez in First half, wasn't tested too much)
Sorensen - 7.0 (Impressive defensively! For an 18 years old, he was very solid and looked like he's playing professional football for years)
Bonucci - 6.5 (Very good at the back, no mistakes)
Chiellini - 6.5 (Very good, misplaced some passes but he worked very hard at the end of the 2nd half to keep away Roma's attacks)
Grosso - 5.5 (Campioni Del Mondo)
Melo - 5.5 (would've gave him just a 5.0 if it wasn't for that lovely pass to Aquilani, that should've been a goal. Other than that, he lost possession and didn't help Aquilani in midfield)
Aquilani - 7.0 (Wonderful assist for IQ, was lively the entire match and was close to score the winner if it weren't for that bastard Burdisso)
Pepe - 6.5 (Energetic! Yes, he conceded a penalty but he put in some very good crosses and helped in defense)
Marchisio - 5.5 (Not a good game, but let's not forget that he's playing out wide)
Quagliarella - 6.5 (Energetic just like Pepe he was involved in almost all our attacks)
Iaquinta - 6.0 (Awful first touch on that Quag's thru pass but scored a wonderful goal. Other than that, he was offside on numerous occasions)

Subs:
Traore - 5.0 (This guy has some sissoko-like touches. His debut against Roma, so I'll give him another chance)
Del Piero - 5.0 (Not Alex day. Lost possession and dived a little too much)
Amauri - 5.0 (He's Amauri)

Delneri - 5.5 (Couldn't control the game and he got his subs all wrong)
