Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't one of your dual accounts go by that name? :D
Yep. I really like the name.

I like Massimo as well, but you can only pull something like that in Italy. First of all you'd be called Maximus anywhere else and secondly you'd have to be one proud son of a bitch to earn a name like that.

He wasn't special. And he knew he never would be. That's what's so painful about this whole incident. He's so painfully average. He's some football hooligan no one would have ever cared about if he hadn't happened to run under a bus.

No, he was not a great artist. And no, he was not a great football fan. And no, he most certainly was not a great man. He was some random loser the world would have forgotten were it not for the fact he spoilt my afternoon.

His name is okay though. Matteo's a nice name.
the post that makes the most sense in this thread :martini:

Indeed, good post Andries. Fuck that idiot. Another Parma supporter bites the dust... big fucking deal. It's not like somebody who made a difference died today. People die all the time yet no fucking matches are postponed because of it. If Barack Obama was assassinated today would Serie A cancel their matches? Or how about Noam Chomsky? Fuck no!

NOT RIP, douchebag.

its stupid that they cancelled the game just on the fact that he was a parma fan, if it were some random person who didnt give a shit about football no one would care

Italy doesn't put a price tag on life versus continuing business as, say, in a place like the U.S. You'd have to have a rival fan shoot 10 people before they'd consider calling off a game, given all the money involved.

This guy had to be immortalized by the Straight Talk Express backing over him... aye...

This guy could be shot in the head by Manure supporters for all I care... I hope they all die. Who cares if this motherfucker died? If some fucking bunch of Manure fans killed me here in State College, nobody would give a fuck. They could chop my head off if they had 25 people (at least) and nobody would give a goddamn fuck. I mean, go fuck yourselves. You die, big fucking deal. Matteo, have fun being dead. You got yourself into this shit and you're a dumbass for stepping in front of a bus. Perhaps in your next life you'll remember to stay out of the way of 10 ton vehicles.

Fuck Manure, fuck Parma, fuck Inter, fuck Milan, fuck Granata, and fuck all English teams.

I must say that I find all of you out of line. I can't believe people here are saying that Matteo was not a useful person to society, etc. Does anyone really have respect for the dead anymore? How can you sit here and say all this about a person you do not know in anyway? I guess it says something about who you are as a person because I would never say that about anyone regardless if I disliked them or disagreed with what they did. We only are hearing stories about what happened and you can't believe everything you hear. How do you know he didn't have a family? Would you say that about your older brother if he died? I don't think so. Have a little decency in respect. I was mad that the game was canceled but this is taking your anger too far and I'm sure Matteo would rather Parma play so you are taking your anger out on the wrong person. You need to take out on the country of Italy and the people who made the decision because this type of stuff is common in Italy unfortunately.

It will be interesting to see the thoughts of those posted in this thread when they are faced with the death of friends, loved ones or even themselves. They may talk a big game but bottom line: They are a joke.

Sarah, honestly, nobody except a few people gives a fuck about me. Why should I respect some dumb motherfucker who stepped out in front of a bus?

I just don't think it's appropriate mourn someone you don't even know, because if you do, you have to mourn everyone that dies. Should I mourn Hitler's death? I didn't know him, did I? If I die only a select group of people would care, like Burke, Easy, Ashley, and you. What is the point?

This isn't Amnesty International here.

What's the fucking matter with you? This is the loss of a human being here, not a person with a certain allegiance to a certain team. He lived for 27 years!, he breathed, he walked, he talked. He had friends and family.

What the fuck is really wrong with all of you? We missed out on watching a football game, a fucking football game. The guy has lost his LIFE. Put yourselves in the shoes of his mother right now.

Blame Serie A all you want, but they've done nothing wrong. Absolutely nothing.
