See, that is not my problem, you hating Ibra has nothing to do with me. I don't want people attacking me everytime I post just because of the username. I don't give a fuck if you hate Inter or Ibra, I can state my opinion on things and people don't have to come at me as if I'm less of a Juve fan for not hating Ibra. And as far as the Del Piero thing, you can not say that I'm wrong for stating the obvious. Another thing, this whole conversation started just because of my username, check back.
I personally don't care about your username, but seeing you with that distasteful avatar and making those comments got me pissed off. I know you from before Zlatan left the club so I have no problems at all with your usertitle.

Amauri ready for Juve test Tuesday 20 November, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Palermo face a daunting trip to Juventus’ Stadio Olimpico, but Brazilian marksman Amauri isn’t overawed. “We can beat them.”

The Rosanero clinched a crucial Derby del Sud win over Napoli in their last outing and they have been beaten just once on their travels.

However, they will be up against a Bianconeri side who are quickly readjusting to life amongst calcio’s elite.

“They are stronger than us, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t win,” Amauri insisted.

“Juve will always be a great force in world football, despite what happened last year, but it’s always fascinating to play against them.

“We will have to be well prepared to beat them because they have so many champions, but we will see what happens on the pitch.”

Amauri is likely to be partnered with Franco Brienza in Turin as ex-Juve star Fabrizio Miccoli is injured.

Forget Miccoli. The real danger is CAVANI. That is if he plays.

Ibrahimovic...we got your point, thank you very much.

Mark....true that, Cavani is a good player....and TBH, Miccoli doesn't scare me at all. I think Legro will be enough for him.

Serie A Week 13 - 25/11/07 (19.30 UK)

Juventus - Palermo
Stadio Olimpico

Juventus will be hoping to make up for their disappointing draw with Parma in Week 12 when they welcome stalemate specialists Palermo to the Stadio Olimpico after the international break. The Bianconeri are currently three points behind leaders Inter after an impressive start to the season, although they have only won two of their last five matches.

The Sicilian outfit, meanwhile, had drawn five consecutive games before finally overcoming a spirited Napoli side last time out. The confidence gained by winning the Derby del Sud has clearly rubbed off on striker Amauri, who is relishing the chance to take on the Old Lady. ?They are stronger than us, but that doesn?t mean that we can?t win ? we will see what happens on the pitch,? insisted the Brazilian hitman.

Unfortunately, Fabrizio Miccoli won?t be able to take his spot upfront alongside his lanky partner against his former teammates, as he is still on the treatment table. That means that Franco Brienza is likely to continue in his place, as boss Stefano Colantuono?s only change is expected to see the fit again Giulio Migliaccio return to the starting XI in place of the injured Fabio Caserta. With Mark Bresciano also absent, his decision not to tinker with his line-up too much isn?t such a surprise.

However, his opposite number wasn?t dubbed ?The Tinkerman? without good reason. Claudio Ranieri may have made a decent start to life in Turin, but he hasn?t lost his desire to shake things up ? and it?s no different this week. Giorgio Chiellini?s ban will force him into one change though, as the highly-rated defender?s absence gives an opportunity to veteran Alessandro Birindelli, who slots in at right-back with Zdenek Grygera covering in the centre.

There?s a change on the other flank too, as Domenico Criscito?s place is expected to go to Cristian Molinaro. Although Tiago impressed as a sub against Parma by providing the assist for Nicola Legrottaglie?s goal, there is still no starting shirt for the Portuguese playmaker. However, one alteration in midfield is likely to see Raffaele Palladino make way for Pavel Nedved. Bad refereeing decisions may have cost Juve plenty of points already this term, so Ranieri will be hoping that his selection changes don?t do the same.

If previous meetings are anything to go by then the former Chelsea boss won?t be losing too much sleep. The Bianconeri won both of the matches the last time the sides were both in the top flight back in 2005-06. The scoreline was 2-1 on each occasion, although three of the Old Lady?s goals came from former aces Adrian Mutu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Ranieri will be hoping that in-form David Trezeguet can fill the scoring void and get his side back on track.

Keep an eye on: Amauri (Palermo) ? The Brazilian hitman has had plenty to say before the game, but now?s the time to show that he can back it up on the pitch.

Last season: Not played

Form guide: Juventus (W L W D D) Palermo (D D D D W)

Juventus (probable): Buffon; Birindelli, Grygera, Legrottaglie, Molinaro; Camoranesi, Nocerino, C Zanetti, Nedved; Trezeguet, Del Piero

Palermo (probable): Fontana; Zaccardo, Biava, Barzagli; Diana, Tedesco, Simplicio, Migliaccio, Capuano; Brienza, Cavani

lol you can't bench trezeguet

still many people don't know what this football player is about ... oh dear god he hasn't scored last game
You're got me wrong here, dude, and immediately started beng disrespectful. In fact, most people here know what Trez is all about. He's a no bullshit player - only made for scoring. But that doesn't mean we should never try something else IMO. What about having a playing striker just once. Would that be so bad?

I've been a Juve fan since 1996 and actually Del Piero is my favorite player. However, I can have any username I want to have and any avi I like. Just because Ibra plays for Inter doesn't mean I have to hate him. Unlike many of people on this forum, I see that Del Piero is past it and no longer deserves to be starting. His performances this season have been below average. I call it like it is while many on this forum are delusional. Once again, stop coming at me like I'm not a Juventus fan because I like Ibra, you know nothing about me.
I have no problem with you liking Ibra but you have to mind that many users here feel provoked by a Juve fan with an Inter avt (a Sweden avt or one without Ibra's Inter jersey would cause less trouble).

I think Amauri posses more danger than Cavani does...
Of course he does.
Especially with Chiellini missing,I dont think that neither Legro nor Grygera will be able to man-Mark Amauri the whole match with no mistakes.
Physically he is stronger than both of them,if he was on his day,he could cause us serious troubles.
I think it will be a very tight match.

I'm impressed with Palermo, they've got a solid side. Typical strength in defence, with some wild cards up front who can turn a game. I think we'll be looking to stamp our dominance and style of play on the game (as always) in order to break them down.

ps, i'd LOVE to see Riquelme make a move to Juve. he may be controversial and a bit of a bad-boy in terms of personality, but you can't doubt his quality; he RUNS THINGS in the midfield.

My only other concern is our Left Wing. Nedved is quickly approaching the end of his career, and it doesn't seem like we have a solid and appropriate replacement for him.. perhaps Christian Molinaro? not so much in my opinion..lol. I was always keen on D'Alessandro, but again, he's temperamental..

Agreed, Amauri poses a greater threat than Cavani, but with both of them, if you give them time and space, they're awesome, if you constrict them they'll choke.. :D

Juventus' return to Serie A seems a lot like the Jamie Kennedy show. No one really knows the final outcome.

For all we know Juve could be champions next year.

True true. Personally, I'd like to see a fresh face in midfield in January, perhaps Giovinco, Marchisio (recalled from loan, if that's what the deal allows) or even a fresh face (like I said, Riquelme), but ultimately I'm hoping for a Champions League, ie top 4, finish. Ideally we push for the scudetto, but Inter are always gonna be tough because of the sheer size of their squad. At the very least I want to see us runners up..

ENGLAND OUT!!! Yes!! No ENGLISH over-rated bullshit next year!!!

Now back to Juve, since iaquinta and Palla played the full game today, I doubt there'll start on Sunday. Camo didnt play so at least it means he'll be fresher and probably start. I think Ranieri will go with
