Why is everyone moaning and complaining???

Did we even thought we'd be in 2nd place so far behind the leader with only 3points diff? Did anyone thought we'd be in this place with this squad? Why is everyone bitching about our performances and display when they already know that we just got back from a difficult year and it takes time to return to the old Juventus.

Why everyone keep bitching about Del Piero and Nedved? Why everyone keep bitching about this and that? Why everyone keep comparing Ranieri's squad to Capello?? and not taking into consideration that what Ranieri has isn't and can't be compared to that idiot Capello, yet he's achieving and playing better football than Capello.

Stop moaning about everything and enjoy the position we're in. Being spoiled fans isn't always good.
I could not agree more. Also remember we have a lot of injured players out. We need more time to get healed and to gel. Forza Juve.

Capello had 9 World Cup finalists + Neddy,Zlatan & Emerson(maybe the best squad ever) & he couldnt get past the 1/4final of the CL so.....
Well Capello put this team on the first spot of SerieA for two whole seasons, and Ranieri hasn' played any European match yet with this team, so you can't draw any conclusions.

Actually,I wasnt comparing between them.

All I was saying is that Capello could have done a lot better with the squad he had,for me in 2005/2006 season Capello had a DREAM TEAM,the team was perfect in every possesion & we were humuliated in the 1/4 of the CL by a young Arsenal team.

Anyway just so u know I respect Capello a lot,I dont like him at all but I respect his strong personality & the fact that he takes his job seriously & that he never let the press or the fans affect him.

I'm very satisfied with our results and i thank the coach and our players for that, but i can't be more disappointed from the way we play.

This is worse than Capello, it really is. Back then we had great defense and especially great defensive midfield that hardly ever allowed to be outplayed and to lose posession. Now we allow teams like Cagliari and Genoa to have all the posession they want, while our game play is still the same and we use the long balls more than anything.
And our creativity~ back in 2005 we weren't a joy to watch, but at least we had strong defensive play that allowed the fullbacks to go safely forward and give more useful balls to Trez, we had two magicians in attack, Zlatan and younger and much more fit Del Piero, we had younger Nedved and we had the only creative midfielder Camoranesi who, although 2 years older, is still my last hope to see some beautiful football this year.
I know that Pretty Football and Capelo don't go together, but as impossible as it sounds, our game in Capello time was more attractive and prettier than our play today, under Ranieri.
I think our play in terms of aesthetics is equally, utterly horrible. Under Capello our midfield still gave the ball away cheaply sometimes and could not always hold posession, but now under Ranieri it is indeed seemingly worse. We have been resorting to long balls far too frequently, however this goes hand in hand with the system we deploy plus the players. With the players we have, including one-dimensional ball winners in the center of the pitch and two hard-working wingers on the side, this straight 4-4-2 will obviously lead to long balls and terribly systematic play as we are certainly no Manure or Arsenal.

The reason why we look like shit is because of the system, without a doubt. Now if Ranieri were to dispose of this ugly straight 4-4-2 and use Nedved behind the strikers and try to insert a little more creative player such as Tiago in there, we would look much better once the team becomes familiar with the system. But then again it doesn't help that our main attackers are 30 years or older, so if we don't make changes now and insert players such as Palladino and Tiago more frequently, we will find ourselves in trouble in another year.

Too many people here look at the current results and nothing else, but people fail to realize that right now we are also building for the future, yet we are not using some of the players that we will rely upon for seasons down the road. Nedved and Del Piero continue to carry us but when they no longer can we shall be in trouble as our new recruits have not received enough playing time.

I like Ranieri, but I thought he would do a little better at implementing the new and young players.

Could it be Ranieri took Del Piero off early cause of the baby? As when he went off he went straight to the dressing room, and a professional like Del Piero would never do that unless he had a valid reason, and i think this is it.

Very possible. Also maybe because he was really angry and already having a yellow was a bit risky keeping him on the field. First time I see him angry this way.

i think it was a mixture of the two, cause in the article of channel4, it says he left the stadium early to go see Sonia and be by her side.

He is indeed inexperienced, thankfully Del Piero and Pavel both didn't end up with one leg as they were fouled like rain.
Good thing Ranieri took off Alex though I think Pavel should have also been sub after his first unfair yellow. But anyway.
MATCH REPORT...

......The second half, our pace dropped but we were still ok. Genoa pushed more. Our players were tackled so hard many times and the ref was simply either not there or at best senarios award a FK without a yellow card.

The tackles were alot on Del Piero and ref wasn't really doing much till alex lost it. Then Nedved was brought down few times without the ref being calling anything.
Then 4 incidence at the last 10 min were terrible.
1- A throw in for us was shockingly called a foul against us palladino.
2- Ranieri gets a straight red card with replays showing he only complained, nothing serious.
3- Nedved was sliding to get the ball, the player pushed it. Nedved clearly tried and successded in avoiding hitting the player. The ref, Foul and yellow card to nedved.
4- The ref calls the game while nedved is in the air trying to hit the ball with his head. After the ref whistled by nano seconds nedved bangs on a player who was also trying to reach to the ball (NOT HIT HIM like some claim)... The ref awards nedved a straight red. It was barely a foul if the game hadn't ended.

The result is.. Ranieri and Nedved might face chanrges by the fenderation that could suspend them from playing against Inter.. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

.....
As you gentlemen have pointed out, the referee chose to ignore Genoa's misdemeanours, but went overboard with the cards against Juve.

thanks to everyone for their reports.

I almost forgot-

Referee and linesmen- 0- fucking pathetic for a Serie A match...time for the entire unit to be sent down to Serie C2 or worse
:agree: They all deserve a good

Pavel Nedved had been getting increasingly agitated and after receiving a yellow card in injury time for a wild challenge on Milanetto, he then completely lost his head and received a straight red after appearing to elbow an opponent. The midfielder now faces a lengthy ban and looks likely to miss the crunch top-of-the-table clash with Inter on November 4.
