Seriously, there are a few things that still cheer me up today. I mean fuck me in the arse, Sissoko not only scored but also did it from an overhead kick.

And seeing Cassano like this:

We should really snatch Zambro from under Milans nose. He's still one of the best wingers in the world and sitting on the bench at Barca, he'd be the perfect replacement for Molinaro. Ok, let the "traitor" calls rain down :D
Let's worry about Milan not taking Buffon once we miss on playing CL football.

Ranieri obviously did a horrible job motivating the players before the game. Osvaldo's goal is particularly obscene given there was 3 Viola players on 7 pedestrian defenders and they still managed to score.

Everytime I see Molinaro playing I keep wondering: WHY THE FUCK DID WE SELL BALZARETTI???? We need a decent right back and a decent left back for next season. We had one but we sold him for peanuts- just like we sold Mutu- a player that owes his whole fucking career.

You know what's completely fucked up ?
If we don't make it to CL then we make 3 steps backwards and we'll need another 5-6 years to make a competitive team.

But even if we do make it to CL we'll still need more than 3 years to become one of Europe's finest.

This is the current situation : Buffon, Sissoko, Chiellini, Zanetti, Trezeguet, Nedved, Del Piero, Camoranesi. We have 8 very good/ great players but only our 5 stars are world class.
In the following mercato we must add at least 2 world class players and 2 very good players. Since we won't have Nedved anymore, maybe even 2 world class players won't be enough.

The final step should be taken in 2010 when we'll need to add 1 or 2 world class players and we'll have a great team.

But it's not that simple. In 2010 Del Piero will be 35, Trez will be 33, Zanetti will be 33, Camoranesi will be 34.
We'll need to add a lot more than 1 or 2 world class players.

To sum up, we won't be one of Europe's finest for at least 5 more years. And that's in case we make it to CL next year. If we don't make it then God help us.

Personally, i think the mistake was made last summer and people like Arrigo Sachi were right when they said that we should have bought quality instead of quantity. It was hard to make a successfull prediction back in the summer because we indeed lacked squad depth, but it's a fact that if we bought 2 world class players in the summer it would have been easier for us to be competitive in Europe after 2 or 3 years.

Not that it needs saying:

Ranieri considers Juve problems

...

“We paid a heavy price for some moments of distraction. It’s a shame, because we were in control of the match,” said Ranieri.

“Papa Waigo’s introduction changed the game, as it gave them strength down the right and we struggled in that area. Having said that, we conceded two goals very stupidly.”
Let's see, oh, who was defending Fiorentina's right flank again?...

I've defended Molinaro when it was warranted. But today he is indefensible.

Molinaro was indeed his usual horrible self but that grygera was worth every cent we paid for him, simply sensational. I have been a Ranieri supporter but i really dont get why he keeps on subbing Nocerino in.

I agree with you 100%... this team has been largely supported by the heroics of Del Piero, Camoranesi, Buffon, Nedved and Trezeguet this season and those are the only five players that can make an impact in Europe and as you said, we cannot rely on them for too long.

I dont think we ever needed Lippi like we do now... it is absolutely essential that he returns!

Dunno, i think we overpayed for Grygera. He wasn't worthy of the money we payed to Ajax.
How much did we pay for him ?
He was bosman transfer... give Grygera a break, he isnt a centre back, hez a right back. When he plays there he isnt so bad. In the centre hez prone to mistakes.

Here is my postmortem on the game:

firstly before I blame anyone, The team in general didn't fight like foirentina did.

Ranieri, Made terrible a sub, he should have subbed david 'ghost' trezeguet instead of D.P, as D.P was driving the team forwad and works unlike trez. I think trez should be dropped he has been very dissapointing and it's like we are always playing with 10 men. I AM DOUBTING OUR CHANCES OF CHAMPS LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

Molinaro is the worst player I have ever seen at Juve, simple as. Ranieri sucks for not realising how much he sucks, Prandelli took advantage of us by putting waigo right on molinaro and he ate him alive. I like the rating goal.com gave him
Quote:
If Molinaro is good enough to play for Juve then I am the Queen’s mother.
I thought Palladino had a good game by his standards keep improving lad!

Each week I am becoming more and more impatiant with Trez I know he is not getting good service but he does have legs of his own you know

our defense was all over the place legro didn't have a good game but i hope he'll return to form as I sympathise with the lad

What this game has shown us is:

Our defense is not good enough secco Please we NEED some real defenders if only the guy in my avatar was still here....

Molinaro is the world worst player even steive wonder has more positional sense then him! I pray for the day he goes

Any one that says ranieri is a good coach is wrong he's lucky, prandelli gave him a tactical ass whipping today

D.P is our spirit you could see as soon as he went off they flooded back into the game, If he gets injured our C.L hopes will be over, i don't know what we will do with out him

We need more creativity we can't just rely on DP for 'push' and positivity

If sissoko was a 'crap' passer at liverpool then i don't know how to decribe half of our teams passing.
