Well... Awful first half. Good frist 25minutes in the second half and that proved to be enough to beat a very weak Empoli.

Happy to see Trez finding the way to the goal, and Tiago helping him with that!

Giovinco also impressed me!
it wasn't a good game. goals and injuries made it look good, but it wasn't.

giovinco wasn't really present. one nice move ok

Report from anyone who saw the match!
I would brief you on Tiago, I am too lazy to write a complete report.

He was invisible in the first half as he disappeared because of the long balls and the flat 4-4-2.

In the second half, he took the freedom to move up, leaving the recovering to Zanetti and he provided some sly passes, a great chip in for Trezeguet to cause the penalty, a freekick straight to Trezeguet's head to see the second goal and a shot from outside the box that trezeguet completed after the rebound.

Other than that, he did what he was best at, distribute well.

Other players that are good to mention are Palladino because this guy has talent, he knows how to create his own space and he is dangerous on the flank.

Iaquinta started well but then became lame.

trezeguet was a hattrick hero, do I need to say more?

So many good news in today's victory!!
Trez scores a Hatrick!! Tiago played a great game, and proved he needs to be given a chance And Marchionni and Camoranesi made their comeback to the feild...

Lets hope we are ready for Inter...

I was watchin this show today called World Game and they were highlighting a team in Israel that has its fans vote online for the players it wants in the starting line up and the coach is forced to field the players. More votes come in at half time to change set up......It was rather wierd and stupid I think but it made me wonder what our team would look like if we did that!!!

Great game - now Inter merder!!

The best confidence we got was Camoranesi and Marchionni both stepping in and getting playing time. Other results don't really matter, we did what we are supposed to do.

As for the Inter game, I think we will play exactly the same as we did against Roma and we'll take the same approach.

Super Juventus Thrash Empoli

Juventus 3-0 Empoli

David Trezeguet scored a superb hat-trick as Juventus enjoyed a happy Halloween with a 3-0 victory over Empoli

Juventus went into the game still raging after the scandalous 3-1 defeat to Napoli at the weekend.

The Bianconeri were without the suspended Nicola Legrottaglie, Giorgio Chiellini, Pavel Nedved and Antonio Nocerino. Alessandro Del Piero started from the bench, while Tiago made only his second start of the season.

Empoli boss Gigi Cagni was minus the services of the in-form Antonio Busce. Luca Saudati led the line up-front by himself, while 20-year-old wonderkid Sebastian Giovinco was once again left on the bench.

Empoli showed they were no pushovers in beating Milan 10 days ago and they had their moments early on. Only some excellent defending by Domenico Criscito and Zdenek Grygera denied IgliVannucchi.

The first real chance game on 11 minutes when Criscito found space in the Empoli area and his effort was parried by Daniele Balli.

Five minutes later the Empoli 'keeper nearly performed a howler but fortunately Tiago couldn’t profit.

The away side then launched a dangerous counter-attack and Grygera did well to stop Saudati going through.

On 25 minutes Francesco Marianini unleashed a powerful shot but it was deflected past the post.

There was little to note in the next 15 minutes or so, other than the slow pace of the game that was suiting Empoli down to the ground.

Iaquinta wasted a promising opening on 42 minutes by overrunning the ball, but all in all it was a comfortable first 45 minutes for the away side, with Criscito’s chance on 11 minutes being the only real opportunity of the game for Juventus.

Juventus started the second half with intent and Trezeguet headed over from a Raffaele Palladino cross.

Five minutes after the restart Juve were awarded a penalty after a foul by Balli on Trezeguet. The Frenchman stepped up himself and struck the ball past the 'keeper. It was the Frenchman’s eighth goal of the season.

Two minutes after the goal Empoli risked going two goals behind but Trezeguet was offside.

The Bianconeri eventually doubled their lead on 62 minutes and Trezeguet was inevitably the scorer, rising high to head home Tiago’s free kick

The Portuguese midfielder was having a good second half and he was involved in Trezeguet’s third goal on 70 minutes. Tiago’s shot was parried and Trezeguet put in the rebound to complete his hat-trick.

The home side played out the remaining 20 minutes and had mercy on their opponents when injuries to Balli and substitute Rey Volapto meant they were reduced to nine men. Indeed striker Saudati was forced to play the last 13 minutes as an emergency goalkeeper.

Juventus: Buffon; Birindelli, Grygera, Criscito; Molinaro; Salihamidzic (Marchionni 85), Zanetti, Tiago, Palladino (Camoranesi 73); Iaquinta (Del Piero 59), Trezeguet

Empoli: Balli; Raggi, Piccolo, Marzoratti; Antonini (Abate 64), Marianini (Giovinco 55), Marchisio, Moro, Tosto; Vannucchi (Volpato 65); Saudati

Ref: Celi

Goals: Trezeguet 51, 62, 70 (J)

How did Camo & Marcho do??

Actually other results always matter especially Fiorentina & Milan ones.

I dont think we should play against Inter like we played against Roma(with a trident attack).
I think we shoud play with 4 men midfield & try to control the match especially with Viera & Stanko missin the match.
I think Ranieri will surprise us all with the formation & the startegy of the Inter match so lets wait & see.

Also how was the referee today, was he favouring Juve??

Camo did well, he improved the level of play once he stepped in. Marchionni played five minutes.
