I certainly won't miss him once my favorite type of player is allowed to play again....the natural or deep-lying playmaker. God how I miss Zidane.
Preach it dawg. I myself am an attacking midfielder and all of my favourite players bar Del Piero happen to be CAMs as well and it pisses me off that Capello is so negative that he won't settle for anything but two holding midfielders in the centre of the pitch. Even a deep-lying playmaker a la Pirlo and Pizarro is too adventurous for Don Fabio

With his tactics and player choices Cap is restricting Juventus as far as offensive potential goes. As a fan obviously I would like to see my club playing good football but as Juve supporters we have to settle for results. I don't think I'm asking for too much, a little bit of fluency is all I would like to see but I guess that isn't going to happen under Capello.

poor vieira too, he comes from a team who play fast, incisive, fantasy football to this plodding, geriatric, no focus, no plan joke of a team that couldn't play attractive football if their lives depended on it.

Well, I read through this thread and you really are all a bunch of either brainless twats, Cunts, or Fvckers.

I love it how every Juventus fan is a spoiled brat. I love it how we so often call to replace Capello- yet he brings us great sucess. I love it how you so easily forget the 28th scudetto. I love it how Capello brings change and you all hate him for it. I love it how someone tries to push this team into winning something and evolving this club into a europeon heavyweight. I love how easily good things are forgotten and bad things are always remembered.

Anyway, I think the reason is pretty obvious why Capello didnt play Del Piero. As much as the Del Piero fans would like to believe that Capello hates Del Piero, yes, a man who has gone around from club to club decides to pick a fight with the captain and put his own emotion for the good of the team. Incase you didnt notice, a coach who would of done that would of been FIRED, so people who say this are insulting everyone high up in football and who has been there for years. Im sure you all know better sitting behind your PCs then Moggi- do you really think if Capello was letting personal emotion get in the way that Moggi would stand for it? Do you really think Capello would just in all honesty taunt DP by making him warm up and then not playing him? Why would he? If DP shagged his wife maybe I would understand, but what did he do to him?

Subs warm up then dont come on, the coach never has a clear stratergy of what do since the game changes so much. There was no need for him in the end. Youve all seen it happen before so theres no reason to use this as ammunition to fire up your Capello guns. Yes, perhaps it was so called ' harsh ' but we won. Do you relise how sad you all are? You are placing the sentiments of a person you have never even met who is frankly underperforming at his job before the whole head of the team!!! We won today- thats all I care about and thats what matters. Zalayeta was obviously more tactical to play at the time- something you probably cant understand since there is not one among you who has been a coach at any professional football club- unless you include playing FM as it.

The reason Zlatan is played is because he is young and Capello wants to give him as much match practice as possible. The more time has has, the more he improves. At most clubs this happens- the veterans sit on the bench whilst the younger ones play striking.

My final message to you is this: you choose to support this club. You chose to follow this club fully aware of its mangerial board and their desicions they could possibly make. You are still choosing to follow Juventus FC- which includes the management who are the real string pullers, and they have decided that Capello leads this team. You know Capello is at the helm- if you dont like it stop whining about his desicions and go support a club that makes desicions you like. So by saying Capello is a ****head and doesnt know football, not only are you making yourselves seem like an idiot, you are degrading the club as a whole. Let Capello switch whomever he wants- I personally wouldnt give a shit if Zlatan flopped and Del Piero became the new star. Before Azzurri7 comes and says a typical 'slag off Dan in some cool way but its actually really crummy and no one laughs ' sentence, I do not hate Del Piero. He is one of my favorite players in the world, and as evidence I hold 2 of his Jerseys- the most out of any player in my Juve jersey collection, which is meagre considering im a poor bastard-but I still saved up to buy one and I asked for the other for my birthday.

So ' Juventini '- you made the choice. This is the way the club is managed now. The lippi era is dead- these are the new times. Roll with it or roll out.

Now If my name would be on the hate thread I would sky rocket to the top, but the truth hurts. I would like to mention here that I will not respond to any long winded arguements because I know my view is correct and you cannot change it anyway.

I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that you didn't mean me as I don't have time to reply to this post as none of its contents comply with me. I know naming individual members in each and every post isn't easy but please don't take such a swipe at all the Dp lovers who have posted in this thread because not all of them are brainless twats, cunts or fvckers. :)

I know where you're coming from Stu, but you also can't argue too much with the results (not that you are here).

If Juve start slipping on the Scudetto or choke early in the CL from his decisions, I'd think his days are definitely numbered given the other issues. Until then, it's all armchair coaching in front of the TV as long as he keeps winning with the team.
Winning with such a successful team can only be so rewarding...it's when you accomplish the feat with great aplomb that you experiance the true joy of winning. At least that is my opinion. It's all fine and dandy winning Scudetto after Scudetto with uninspiring displays, but at some point you start to realize winning all the time isn't enough....you have to do it in style to make waves. I think that is what a lot of us are starting to crave. And of course, winning in style is the only way to win the Champions League.

I also am a natural playmaker and watching the likes of Pizarro and Zidane is what really makes me love the sport. Natural playmakers are IMO the best players in the whole sport; just look at the greats this world has cherished.

And no, asking for a little bit of attacking play is not too much.

Word. I don't think that what you and I crave is in any way unreasonable. I've loved this club from the time I was a little boy and I want nothing more than to see them do well but you get to a certain point where results isn't enough. If I have to settle for boring results and uninspiring displays I will do so. I will never stop supporting Juventus FC, NEVER, but I'd still like to see us play better football.

Dan, we indeed choose to support Juventus, however that does not mean we cannot question the decisions our club makes in the board room, transfer market, and out on the field of play. That is the beauty of being a supporter.

That said, some of the treatment Capello recieves is indeed unfair. Once something happens that totally pisses a fan off he seems to lose all objectivity and resorts to insults. Rather sad if you ask me that we have to be sifting through pages and pages of worthless insults directed at staff and players. Grow up people.
