Imo:
Abbiati-6,shasky at start but improved later.
Pessotto-6,nothing special,no defensive errors,no real help upfront.
Thuram-6.5-solid.
Canna-7,just great.simply as it is!great!
Zambro-7.5,VERY GOOD,was running all the game,defending well,attacking all the time,building plays with Neddy,and ofcourse assited Trez's goal.
Camo-6.5 was good,haven't lost the ball to much,pretty good passes,speacilly crosees,was a bit less effective than always but stil did really good.
Emo-6.5,Was invisble but did all the dirty work,and made Vieira feel comfortbale by involving him more.
Vieira-6.5,great tecnique,some nice passes,good on the defensive,plus his first official game here.congrats(not including Supercoppa).
Neddy-6.5,Did tried a lot but he is not as effective as he used to be,but still was runnig and trieng hard all the 90 minutes,his play with Zambro lead to the goal.
Trez-8,MOM,damn he looks good,so sharp,was everywhere,in the midefield,passing around,runnig,shooting good,scoring,he is really on fire,he is hungry for goals,wins,trophies.....FORZA TREZ!
Zlatan-5.5,started good,and tried some nice things...but as time passed he got just mad and upset wanted to dribble the whole world and his sister....
i didn't like his attitude...tried late in the game to get back,but was too late....
Zala,Zebina,no ratings.
Capello-6,Should have given Del piero a chance....:down:
Overall-6.5,we won,we never seemed frightened,always in control,we need to work a bit on the finish work in the box.

Abbiati - 5.5
Pretty unconvincing so far. Made a few misstakes and rash decisions, and has 0 arial presence. Still, IMO a lot of that is due to confidence, he should be ok after a match or two
Pessotto - 6
Pretty solid, but nothing special, tried to go forward a bit but didnt really do anything in attack.
Cannavaro - 6.5
Pretty good as always IMO, made a few good tackles and kept everything udner control
Thuram - 7.5
Played like a true captain IMO. Great game for Lilian, did everything right, bar one suspicious backpass. Some fantastic saving tackles, huge arial presence, completely controlled the Chievo attack. MoM for me.
Zambrotta - 7
Also a very good match, went down the left all match. Had the assist for Trez's goal, and was very solid indefence.
Vieira - 6
I wasnt very impressed by him in this match. Did well defensivly but had a lot of lost balls and bad passes, was lucky not to get a yellow card. Tried to go up front and help the attack but didnt really do anything.
Emerson - 6
Similar to Vieira, altho he didnt attack as much. Was pretty invisible in the first half, but improved a bit in the second. Had a few nice touches and passes but nothing grand.
Camoranesi - 6.5
An OK match for Camo. Did his job attacking down the right, had decent ball control and passing, altho he didnt have a lot of his customary runs.
Nedved - 4.5
Piss poor match by Neddy. His first touch lost us at least 2 good chances IMO. Ran around like a headless chicken a lot of the time, didnt do anything up front and had a few bad passes. Completely out of the game.
Zlatan - 5
Pretty bad performance from Zlatan as well. Seems to have forgotten to pass the ball again, maybe the stardom has gone to his head a bit. Had a few nice touches and attempted passes for Trez in the first half, but all in all a very poor match. Was very nervous and annoyed and never seemed to settle into the game.
Trezeguet - 7
Showed some of his customary brilliant volleys. Was fantastic in the first half, when the service was still good. One of the best volleyers of the ball IMO. Great header to score the goal and great agility to get into some of those chances. Decent passing as well.

An interesting first half with a few creative offensive changes (and some good goalkeeping by Fontana) followed by a lethargic, coma-inducing second half. Where's Vinman? -- there needs to be some serious butt kicking about that second half performance. You could hear the echoes of the drool dripping out of the many open mouths of napping delle Alpi fans in this one... it was deafening.
Best players of the match? The France NT. No, seriously. Some thoughts about ratings, IMO of course:
Abbiati: 6
- Didn't have to do much. Came out of goal a little more than made me confortable, but a clean sheet is a clean sheet.
Pessotto: 5.5
- Adequate job as a sub, but we need something better at starting right back pronto.
Cannavaro: 6
- Not his best match, but pretty solid. Little got past our backline.
Thuram: 7
- Outside of a couple of errant passes, he had a great game. He got his head in to disrupt many passes towards our box. He deflected the ball play forward a lot. And he played man-to-man well. Nice job, captain.
Zambro: 6
- Not great, but not bad. A decent match. His cross that lead to the Trez goal was perfect. Didn't seem to get involved in defense much, but then didn't have to all that often. Wasn't as effective on the wing as in some games.
Emo: 5.5
- Average day for a midfielder, but subpar for him, IMO
Camo: 6
- Occasional good crosses and ball movement. But this guy needs to learn how to shoot. When Zlatan hogged the ball and drew triple coverage (mistake), he at least had the sense to chip out to an open Camo. So what does Camo do from center? Blow the ball over the top, as usual. What else? We need a central midfield threat, and we don't have it in Camo.
Nedved: 5
- Outside of a few useful leading passes down the left touch line, he didn't really add anything to the game. Sad, sad to see.
Vieira: 6.5
- I like how he fits in the team. He showed a great ability to possess the ball despite 2-3 tackle attempts. He was a possession monster. Just wish some of his passes were a little more on target, but a nice match for your first Serie A game in Juve stripes.
Trez: 7
- Absent much of the second half, his first half was sublime and lead to the only difference for us on the scoresheet. Could have had more. Creative attacks from different angles, etc.
Zlatan: 5.5
- A couple fo great passes, but his temper got the worst of him. As he missed, he got frustrated and his play hit something of a downward spiral.
Zalayeta, Zebina: NR
