Happy with our 3points but disgusted with our defenders.
Chiellini should step up. He's a a very good defender but not yet a top one. We need his leadership to be felt at the back. We can't keep conceding more than the likes of Bologna, Cesena and Chievo.
Bonucci is having his 1st year at Juve therefore I wont criticize him much though I'm not satisfied with his performances yet. Our fullbacks didn't impress me as-well except for Grygera who was average against Palermo and very good against Cagliari. And when Grygera is your best defender this says it all.
I don't expect wonders from Chiellini, but I want to see for once this season an organized defense. Now that Buffon is out and I don't really rely on the likes of Storari to organize the backline I expect Chiellini to move it.
if it's not the fullbacks today our centrebacks screwed us over (both goals are to be blamed on them), biggest problem still remains the fact that this defence is not only individually weak (motta, DC, rinaudo wasnt impressive) but fail as a well organized unit.
Far from Momo, but not a good passer, unfortunately. The amount of balls Melo won yesterday was incredible. I counted 9 by the end of the first half. He probably had 20 or so by the end of the match, which is like twice more than the average you expect from a good DM. And unlike Momo, Melo didn't win those balls by sheer force. He won many balls by reading the game well and knowing where a pass will go.
But then he tried a more complicated pass to start a counter and he doesn't have the passing range for that. Such a shame because if he was a better passer we'll have at least 5 more goal chances per match.
Now, I don't know if it's in his nature to go for a quick pass forward or he's instructed to do that, but it doesn't work obviously so maybe it will be smarter if Del Neri tells him to do what Dunga was telling him to do. Win the ball and pass it to the closest player capable for a good pass. In our case it would be Aquilani, when the Italian plays.
In Brazil it was different because Kaka, Gilberto and Robinho were closer to Melo so he always had an option for a short pass. In Juve there aren't many options for a short pass and it will always have to be the other CM who receives a pass from Melo. Still, looking at the other CMs we have, it must be Aquilani and God knows how often will that guy play.

I pretty much agree with what Vinny and C4ISR have already said. We have not learned anything new from this match, apart from that Krasic might perhaps turn out to have a better first season than most originally thought. The rest of the story, including the poor defending, is very much a part of the plot for us.
My stance has not changed either. The team needs to produce a string of positive results and performances, then we might be in good shape. Until that occurs, I don't see a point in looking at the table. And if the team is already worrying about the table, then they might as well try to unbuckle their belts while on their favorite roller-coaster ride. Either way, the result isn't too pretty to watch. We learned a lot about gravity last year, didn't we.
Give him a drum and some rabbit ears and he can do the future "Energizer Battery" commercials.
True, normally I don't give credit to Amauri but what he was showing on the pitch was different. I actually saw him moving. I believe it was Juve's 2nd goal, when he pressured the defender, and stole the ball and passed it to Pepe where Pepe crossed it into the box and Krasic beautifully finished. We have to give big thanks to Amauri for that one too. I rather keep Amauri than Iaquinta to be honest, even though Iaq has 2 goals this season while Amauri has 0, Amauri is the better striker.
If Krasic didnt play today, we would have lost the damn game...we ARE dependant on him, DUMB Neri...quit retracting your comments every time you put your foot in your mouth !!!
not good enough, a truly ideal striker should have the body posture of zlatan, flair & creativity of bergkamp/del piero, scoring ability of trezeguet/nistelrooy, speed and dribbling of ronaldo (the fat one)/henry, heading of bierhoff, 'offside king' of inzaghi
