I think he will start this game. Zanetti is out for a ban so who else would play?

I am looking forward to seeing something different in the team even if he is a defensive mid. I hope he brings new motivation and energy to our midfield after this demoralizing loss to Inter.

The only thing is i wish Zanetti was there to play with him.

I also am curious to see if Camo is banned in Serie A or just for Coppa after his rash kick during the Inter game.

Lets hope the club have a new Left back by Sunday as well hahahah .. Drenthe ..come quick man!

i hope we lose this one , maybe that will be enough to sack ranieri but then again when i look at the idiots ru(i)ning our club that seems highly unlikely.

Buffon
Salihamidzic Legrottaglie Grygera Molinaro
Camoranesi Nocerino Sissoko Nedved
Trezeguet Del Piero

I'd be tempted to kick one of the midfielders for Iaquinta though, but it won't happen anyway.

Edit: Stupid, Iaquinta is suspended of course.

I'm pretty sure red cards carry over to different competitions, I know yellow cards don't but I think red cards are different. I might be wrong though.....
They don't, i'm also pretty sure.
I don't remember a player who got a red card in Serie A to be suspended for Coppa, or the other way around.
Almiron wasn't suspended in serie A when he got a red card against Empoli in Coppa and no-one of the ones who were red carded in Coppa (Edusei from Catania, Mexes from Roma etc) were suspended in serie A.

Even though organized by the same federation, these are totally different competitions.

Gazzetta also doesn't have Camoranesi among the suspended players. Stendardo, Zanetti and Iaquinta (why ?) are suspended according to Gazzetta.

Iaquinta got a yellow for that Balleri incidident after the livorno match.
That i know, but i didn't know it was his 4th because the guys from channel4 registered it as his 3rd yellow when i checked on Monday.

Now i see they fixed it and we, finally, have 0 players one yellow away from suspension.

Channel4 report says that Momo is still in Africa and it won't be available for this match:

As a result, Hasan Salihamidzic moves from right-back to the middle of the park, but new signing Momo Sissoko won’t play any part as he is still away on African Nations Cup duty with Mali. Emanuele Belardi will deputise for Gigi Buffon once again if necessary, as Italy’s No 1 is still struggling with a back injury.
