what happen with a goal headed by laquinta? He didn't do anything and DP was not a part of the play. Compare to a goal by Di Natale. He was offside and he was a part of the play!

Blame Tingerman for boring game!

Can we say players were too tried from Euro quali?

it seems it was indeed DP's tug on the defender...the whistle blew as the ball was still in mid flight...well before the header into the net:disagree:

Personaly I think their goal shouldn't have counted...how can you defend against that kind of situation?...this wasn't the intention of the new rules

IMO Tiago must be in first 11. He is still not Tiago from Lyon or Chesky, but he is much better than Almiron.
I also think that Ranieri made a mistake when he take out Zanetti, he should change Almiron, and play Zanetti - Tiago.

Aside from Chiellini & Almiron who sucked real badly,I think all our players including the subs were either average or Good.
Positive points:
Criscito was brilliant today.
Tiago was very good in the 30 min. he played,he was everywhere & I am 100% sure that he will start against Roma.
Alex can still play fast.
Negative points:
Chiellini was horrible no matter what people here say,Ihe was soo lazy in every ball & every time he goes forward he comes back walking & leave Andrade & Criscito suffering alone at the back.
I woke my father by shouting at him in the TV,if anyone watched the replay of the match just watch where was Chiellini in all the counter attacks coming from the left.old Birindelli was much much better than him today.
Almiron is goin downhill, every game is worse than the one before,I told u all not get carried away with this guy,he doesnt have what it takes.
Camo's injury, hope it is not serious coz if it is,then we will really suffer.
Ranieri can be so Stupid sometimes, why the fuck was he keeping Almiron & why playin Nocerino on the right,in the last 5 min. he went into the middle & he was very good.

Anyway like some people here said, this is REALITY,we r only playin for 4th place this season wether we like it or not,we dont have neither the right coach nor the right team to win the Scudetto,it will be between Roma & Inter this season, with Juve,Milan & Fiorentina fighting for 3rd,4th & 5th.

I dont understand what are you people blaming Nedved for? he did everything in the first half, and after Camo's injury, he took creating chances on his own, sure in the second half he couldnt keep the good performance, nobody can after all this effort

On the other hand DP was so slow and selfish, Trez was lost, while Almiron Nocerino were useless, Tiago and Iaquenta just kept running

Blaming Nedved for the midfield's bad shape is like blaming Buffon for the goal

-Agree, Nedved worked so hard today, our best player
-DP was too slow, in the first half he missed many good passes from Nedved and Camo due to his lacking of pace

Nice game to put us back on the ground, after two wins we where thinking that can beat every team in the league. Believe guys every new player need time to get used to the team. I remember players like Zidan that haven't played descent game whole first season. Give time to this team, I know we don't have it if want place in CL, but they need it. One lose and u r all winning and spiting on everybody. Have a little faith.
FORZA JUVE !!!

Actually Neddy wasnt bad at all & anybody who blame him for anything today is just Stupid.

Dp was Slow & selfish!!!
I've been critiscizing Alex from the biginnig of the season but Today he was By far our best player on the pitch,he did what every Juve supporter wanted him to do,he played fast. Also he ran everywhere & he fought on every ball,it just wasnt his day.
Forza Alex

This was a frustrating game to watch. The 1st half was all Juve & they could've gone up 2-0. Di Natale's goal just took the wind out of their sails though. The 2nd half it seemed they would just run into a brick wall. DP was unlucky to hit the woodwork like 3 times. Nocerino didn't have his best game, but that most likely is because he was out of position. Trez was invisible today. Iaquinta looked a little better, but it was hard for him to find any room.

Next weeks game is going to to be tough. Roma has yet to conceed a goal.

Ranieri Regrets First-Half Misses

Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri believes that the Bianconeri’s failure to convert their first-half opportunities was a key factor in their 1-0 defeat to Udinese.

Last year’s Serie B champions dominated the opening period but after falling behind to Antonio Di Natale’s goal just after the break, the Turin giants seemed to completely lose their way.

“We lost a game of two halves. In the first period we could not take our chances and then they scored with their first shot on goal,” Ranieri said.

“Then after the goal we irritated ourselves, we were divided and we did not pull ourselves together as a team.”

Ranieri also justified his decision to replace prolific marksman David Trezeguet with Vincenzo Iaquinta after 54 minutes.

“I replaced Trezeguet because Del Piero was continuing to interpret his role well and also David played for his national team on Wednesday,” Ranieri explained.

“I believed that Iaquinta could offer us some more space and that Del Piero would continue to act as the important reference point for our attacks.”

Juventus travel to Roma next Sunday in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash in the Eternal City. Roma currently lead the Serie A standings and maintained their 100 per cent record today with a 2-0 win at Reggina. Ranieri, however, has promised that the Bianconeri will put in a better performance in Rome than they did today.

“I can say for sure that in Rome you will see another Juventus,” Ranieri concluded.

DP,Nedved and Criscito are the only players that came out of this game deserving credit..Almiron has been very dissapointing since the start of the season...i know he can play better..Trez didnt get enough service..Nocerino was played out of position...Palladino should have come in.

I agree with the poster that said Tiago should be played ahead of Almiron
