Yeah, my mistake. edited.

Biri is the only fit RB. I wouldn't mind playing Nocerino RB but I doubt that will happen
To be honest, even if we played Iaquinta at RB would be better than Birindelli. He's just past it. And as you said, we may do just like we did with Blasi, and play Nocerino at RB, but that's highly unlikely, as Ranieri seems to like Birindelli.

I like Biri but, as you say, he is past it now. If Ranieri doesn't play him tomorrow there would be no reason to have kept him.

I just wish he was coming in to play against a less dangerous attack. It will be important that the midfield gives him as much protection as possible.

Exactly. If Biri plays tomorrow, we definitely need to play two DMs in the midfield to give him a lot of protection, because Udinese's attack looks scary.

Looks fine to me Jack but I don't see Ranieri playing Molinaro at RB.

Andrade-Criscito-Chiellini-Molinaro could be a possibility as well. I think Andrade has played right back for Depor before.

If Birindelli starts we have a serious problem. Quagliarella, Asamoah and Di Natale are all too quick and skillful for Biri at his age.

He could but wouldn't make a decent cross with his right foot. He'd have to stop and put it on his left and then cross.

TBH, After Cagliari's game, I wouldn't play Criscito at least not start him in this match.
would you play with 3 at the back?

Andrade-Legrottaglie-Chiellini? Could work for a game or 2 but I don't trust Udinese in this one. They sucked and I feel Quaglia will wake up in this one. :(

Suggesting that formation was a question actually. The same question that wondered about Molinaro's ability at RB. Anyone knows about it?

Well, looking at that formation, we really look shaky at the back. Having Andrade-Lgero-Chiellini, three man in the back with 5 midfielders makes it safer to me.

Better than seein Molinaro and Criscito both playing back.

A back three against Udinese's front three? Sorry but we'd get owned, especially in the wide positions.

Their formation is most probably going to be 3-4-3 like udinese's coach stated. So, I see it very logical to also play 3-4-3/3-5-2 since we have several injuries. I don't think their back-line is any better than ours(not that ours is superior to them) but they're in no way better.

And about their front three, indeed they look strong and fast in the front, but we also got our weapons up there, Nedved, Dp, Trezeguet, Iaquinta.

Plus, we're playing home, they're going to be the under-dogs, not us. If we uses our chances well, If Ale and Pavel are fit, I doubt them holding us.

I wasn't comparing the two teams, I was saying it would be a bad decision to play a back three (a formation which we haven't tested) against such a strong attacking side (on paper anyway).

Cagliari destroyed our strongest back FOUR. I'd hate to see what Udinese would do to a back three.
