I share your concerns, but we must wait until after the 2 games to make any judgement on Juve, afterall, playing Arsenal, IMO, should get the team more motivated than playing against Bremen.
I sure hope the same,
esp Vieira gets really excited in this kinds of games,
Canna,Thuram,Zambro,Emo,Camo give always their best
and we are not in the bad shape we were then...:pint:

Guys guys.. You are looking at this from a wrong prospective.
When Nedved got sent off in the first half I was worried that we were going to lose the game. Then the 2nd half started. To tell you the truth, it felt like we were playing either 5-4-1 or 4-5-1. Until the last 7-8 min of the match you could hardly tell that we were missing a player for such a long period. Roma might have been playing with not their optimum squad but just for you to know they are very strong. A team that can win 11 times in a raw is a team that is really fearable. Ok they were missing Totti and De Rosi. Still we were playing more than 45 min with 10 players. Let alone we have another match to think about in 3 days.
Our performance in the 2nd half was VERY SOLID. We were not creative, but we were solid. We did not give Roma spaces (a team who is not exhaust as your team playing with an extra player for 45+ min you'd expect them to make spaces). Even more in some parts of the 2nd half I felt that we were going to score the 2nd goal.
Bring on Balzaretti instead of Mutu was wize. Might not be fancy, but wize. This is a kind of mentality that looks into all sorts of conditions and keeps in mind the opponents capabilities and respects them.

Am I worried about the Arsenal game? yes I am, but the day I stop worried it is either that the trophies is 100% secured OR I am dead.

No U r right & that what I have been saying! but the problem with Viera in these last games for me is that it seems like he is playing as a punishment,he has no spirit at all!

Cesar Maldini was asked tonight about Vieira's performance. He replied by saying that Vieira is suffering from a major physical/fitness problem.

Agree man! but not producing one chance in the whole 2nd half is just NOT RIGHT!

That was expected. ROMA are very dangerous. Capello knows that. Nedved was our play maker during the match. He got sent off.
Capello is the kind of person that does not like to take risks. He plays conservatively. THATS the problem. BUT, he manage to get the result at the end of the match. If all coaches were to play the same way all why do clubs change coaches everywhile?
I agree, it pisses me off to see us play to coservative football were we can play much better offesneively if we were unleased. But as long as the team is marching forward on steady steps to win some trophies I cannot complain.

Just only that u know, this was always my argument & I was always attacked by Cap haters aroud here,Anyway I always enjoyed watching Juve produce great defensive games like the one against Milan in Delli Alpi but we have 3 days left for London's game & we r without Dp & Neddy,I just feel that playing with the normal 4_4_2 wont get us the result that we want!Soemthing special has to be done in London by Cap.!
