I do think that the 3-4-3 is the right tactic. The first half today, was very good, and I think, that if we would have scored a bit later, like in the 30th minute, we would have played with even more pressure. With Nedved coming back, I Zebina pushing back in the three man defense along Cannavaro and Thuram. In midfield, either Blasi or Camoranesi should play on the right wing, with Nedved taking the midfield role of Camoranesi in the middle and Emerson along Nedved. On the left is Zambrotta and the trident in attack. I was always a fan of the 3-4-3, since I have once seen Inter using it, and they really impressed me back than. We should use it quite more often.

To the game: It was nothing special IMO. The trident played good, and the midfield was also, better than the last times. Montero was indead a desaster. Zlatan and DP should get the MoM award. Del Piero really played like a captain today, always showing the other guys, where to go and he made some great actions. Zlatan made nice dribbles. I simply love this guy, for taking the ball, and when he has it, you know something spectacular happens. All in all, a decent win, with nice goals!
The wide players in a 3-4-3 have to do a lot of defending and therefore that role doesn't suit Camoranesi. It doesn't suit Nedved either and we can't play both of them in the centre. Blasi isn't a natural right winger so I'm against the idea of playing him there and to leave out Camo or Neddy doesn't really make sense to me. I think we'd be better off going with a back four, Emerson protecting them, Camo and Neddy on the flanks and the trident attack upfront.

I know about the 4 men mid in a 3-4-3, and I thought that maybe camoranesi could fill this role, but its true: He doesn't have the def. skills for it.

using again 4-4-2 will lead back where we started from,
treze is doing nothing, zlatan cant do everything by himself,
two def mids wont create much
and we will start these horrible, desperate long balls again,
eventually our defence wont resist stoping all the counterattacks and here we go again.
but we sould definitly use a super defencive 4-4-2 on real,
be solid and wait their sluppy defence to break,
lucky milan has the love of God,
they played nothing again and they win.

Even if Camo had the defensive skills necessary to play that role, it would limit him offensively, same goes for Nedved.

4-3-3 suits us well imo.

For what its worth, I got to watch the first half of the Osasuna-Real Madrid game, and Real was pure shit. they were down 1-0 at the half.

Unfortunately, they came back to win 1-2
Real was absolutely pathetic. They should not have won that match. The goals came after goalkeeper errors, bad ones at that.

after watching the game i have to say that our biggest concern is Trezeguet. the guy has to step up his game before the real madrid game. he should play every game till then hoping that that will help him. our defence looked shaky still. the first half was the absence of our second defensive midfielder and the second half was the absence of cannavaro (whom of which i hope the injury never occurs again). Zlatan was better than the previous games and same thing for DP. but let me tell you, you can see it in DP that he is not the same, he has lost all the confidence. sorry to bring it to you but as of today nobody should be expecting anything useful from him and hope (a strong word) that he can pull of something as the season continue.
camo and emerson have been our best players so far and they showd that today, emerson was everywhere and camo owend the right side. zebina wasnt bad as well and gigi, thuram and zambrotta did excel.
i wanna be happy about this victory but the only good thing i see is that we won after losing twice. the problem is that we cant afford any more mistakes now.
