If an average defense only leaks in one goal in 6 Champions League macthes, the world must not have very many good attacking sides. :howler:
that was last year ...

Our defense has started to show the chinks in its armor

Juventus have Ibra worry Monday 7 February, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ruled out of Sweden’s friendly against France on Wednesday.

The striker (pictured) picked up an injury during the 1-0 loss to Palermo on Saturday, forcing him onto the sidelines.

"We don’t expect him to train or play," said Swedish boss Lars Lagerback ahead of the Paris clash.

It is unclear at this stage whether the summer signing from Ajax will be available to face Udinese at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Italy Under-21 boss Claudio Gentile has been forced to make two changes to his squad.

The Azzurrini face Russia in an Olbia friendly on Tuesday but goalkeeper Tommaso Berni and Antonio Floro Flores will not play because of injury.

Ternana’s Berni has been substituted by Roma youngster Gianluca Curci, while Floro Flores – who only replaced Daniele Corvia last night – has made way for Salernitana’s Raffaele Palladino.

i think this match is decisive .

changing the way we used to play from august till now won't help at all , we must stick with our 4-4-2 formation actually we don't have another one , we didn't try new one and we failed againest sampadoruia when we were forced to change it .

our defence is solid , i give them the credit for getting that 50 points so far .

since ancelotti left juve till now , we usually play with slow tempo and slow build ups that's our style and i am fine with it .

we were always calm and cool in crisis and i adore this in juve , it's the worst time to panic especially with madrid game in 2 weeks

by the way milan were lucky to win they don't deserve it actaully i think crespo was in offside position the point is that they will loose points and we will loose points so moral and spirits will be the most important factor till the end of the season .

the palermo game showed us how important camo is for the team.
i think getting him back will bring back the balance to the team, his slow play and holding the ball too much is actually a blessing in disguise.
i think capello will start alex so thats always interesting.

winning this game is very important, if we dont win then its better we take some time offf and forget about the CL.cuz real will eat us alive.

every match is decisive.. if you come to think of it..

Zlatan is not playing..?? I don't know if this is good news or bad news.. though I don't like him, but he's the best of the three atm..!!

also, our defence is allright.. but our midfeild and attack is the problem.. if we can't get our shit atraight upfront, then we definitely will leak goals...

btw, Is nedved playing..?

oh, come on.. they deserve the win more than Lazio.. after lazio scored they slept in their own half... letting milan dominate the feild.. and crespo wasn't in offside position..

He means that Zlatan's move may seem that defenders will have enough time to mark him, but sometimes this move can draw defenders to him so that he can pass the ball to an unmarked teammate, who in turn score the goal.

This match is a moral-boosting match for Juve, if we lose, Real will defeat us for sure, cos they r in top-form recently, which is the opposite to wad we r doing atm.

it might.. but, it's not like a rule or something.. beside, what moral boost could come from beating Udinesi before playing real..?? seriously..?

in the contrary.. I think if we keep screwing up till Real's game.. that will give Real an bad impression and they will come easy on us.. from pre-match mentality-preparing point of view..

even if they didn't, our situation will leave the players with no execuses.. and give them more responsibilities towards the club and their fans.. which will result in a more than 100% performance from all the players.. cuz it will be their last chance to bring back their fans' trust..

it can be double-edged weapon, actually...

A win will make the players more confident and motivated. Rite now our players seem to be playing aimlessly, even the 2-0 win against Atalanta doesn't seem convincing to me. We can't afford to screw up against Udinese, or else we would be making a fool out of ourselves against Real.

Even though I agree wad u said about Real, but I don't think Real will underestimate us as well. Remember we were the team that wiped Real out of the 2002-2003 CL semi-finals, and they will be back for revenge. So I think they will be more desired to wipe us out and play with full determination.

I'm worried that our players will not be confident enough, and plus that weak now, we r surely put in a huge disadvantage against other teams. Udinese is a tricky team which plays quick football, with Iaquinta + Di Natali pressurizing on us and Di Sanctis, a tough keeper. So IMO this might be a comeback match for Juve.

I would really like to know the outcome of this game. But I will say that we will juz win with a scrappy 1 - 0.
you are optimistic , udinese can beat us with 2-3 goals if we dont play good:(

yes, udinese is not an easy opponent.. we have to be careful.. and with real's game drawing close... we can't afford losing key players because of injuries.. we don't have sufficient back-ups..

@ZhiXin: agreed.. as I said it's a double-edged weapon.. if we trash udinese with 4-0.. can you say that we'll defeat real for sure..??

all what juventini want is to make sure that we're ok... fans need something that give them hope.. but, a win here is not neccessarily to be assuring.. and vise versa..

again, Real's game has nothing to do with Udinese's game...

unless somthing major is done by capello , we will loose this match :(
I'm not confident either. The back four isn't as reliable as it was in the first half of the season and we don't know how to break down opposition defences. Another slip up will see Milan catch up with or overtake us in the table, which I'm sure no-one expected to be the case after we extended our lead to eight points last weekend.
