I believe gazzetta gives 1, or i'm pretty sure they give 1 extra for goals.

10 is perfect

Dude its okay, it gives me something to do. ;) THANK you though!
10 is a hat trick!
dont take me wrong, i believe in zlatan s potential, i believe he can do even better, i just dont believe this was a match wich a player sould get all the credit, give him 7.5 and u sould give more to camo too etc etc

If we only had a player like Barzagli, the 3-4-3 might actually work for us. Montero should have been shipped out, not Tudor. But we all know our seniors at the squad are taken care of the most..

The goals always pushes the ratings up with about 1 and I think he's worth 6.5 without it. There for he deserves 7.5! :irritate:

I gave him 7.5 not 13. :howler: I don't understand why your being a ***** either. I wasn't thrilled at all when we signed Zlatan, but at this point I definatly am.
Respect man:)....i did't insult you Yet!

They don't add on a specific number for goals. When Montella scored his hat-trick earlier on this season he got an 8 so are you trying to tell me that without the goals he would've gotten a 5? I don't think so. In Italy's newspapers 6.5 is good, 7 is very good and anything above that is brilliant. IMO Zlatan was very good, not brilliant.
Of course it depends on the importance of the goal. If scoring an opener in the first minute, giving your team confidence and an early boost is worth 0.5... Then...

Why don't we just wait and see what Gazzetta give him then?

I don´t like a 3-man defence.. this not modern football. we could plan 4-3-3 this would be better, and means that montero must not play.. any news about Cannavaro...??

YES I DO! OH yes I do! Just didn't realize how much questioning and insults i would get because of that post. ;) And I'm a bad-winner so I will get really cocky when gazzetta gives him 7.5. Oh wait... Its already starting.

How amazing this 3-4-3 will work with Chivu!!!

Not to mention how orgasmic will it be with Mutu - Zlatan - Someone
I don't think that 3-4-3 is the right tactic for us. Today Zebina and Zambrotta were the guys pushing up the flanks, what will happen when Nedved returns? We could switch Zamb to the right but Neddy won't prosper given the defensive duties he will now have to deal with. I'd rather play 4-3-3.

I can't say it really appeals to me. Either Camoranesi, Nedved or Zambrotta will have to be left out. I think we should play this:

Buffon
Zebina Thuram Cannavaro Zambrotta
Camoranesi Emerson Nedved
Del Piero/Mutu
Ibrahimovic Trezeguet/Del Piero

I was thinking of putting Miguel in the line-up as opposed to Zebina, but the latter might actually suit this formation better because Miguel isn't exactly the best right back when it comes to defending and with him and Zambrotta bombing down the flanks and only one defensive midfielder in the side the centre backs could be easily exposed. With a stay-at-home full back like Zebina (or maybe Bonera if he improves enough) we wouldn't be as vulnerable.

Happy Capello Strongly Denies Del Piero Clash Reports
2/13/2005 6:16:00 PM
Juventus boss Fabio Capello could finally smile again as his team won after two consecutive losses.
“It was important to win after our two falls, but it was even more important to demonstrate strength and character. And we were able to,” Capello said after the 2-0 win over Udinese, before revealing the reason behind his choice to field the Del Piero-Ibrahimovic-Trezeguet trident.

“Our game plan had become predictable, so I fielded players where they least expected,” he explained.

Don Fabio also pointed out that the story which came out on La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper this morning that indicated Capello had a heavy clash with Del Piero during the week is full of lies.

“On a certain pink newspaper certain lies came out that in particular touched juve’s old guard. I read incredible things that can jazz fans up and create polemics. That’s not right,” he said.

I do think that the 3-4-3 is the right tactic. The first half today, was very good, and I think, that if we would have scored a bit later, like in the 30th minute, we would have played with even more pressure. With Nedved coming back, I Zebina pushing back in the three man defense along Cannavaro and Thuram. In midfield, either Blasi or Camoranesi should play on the right wing, with Nedved taking the midfield role of Camoranesi in the middle and Emerson along Nedved. On the left is Zambrotta and the trident in attack. I was always a fan of the 3-4-3, since I have once seen Inter using it, and they really impressed me back than. We should use it quite more often.

To the game: It was nothing special IMO. The trident played good, and the midfield was also, better than the last times. Montero was indead a desaster. Zlatan and DP should get the MoM award. Del Piero really played like a captain today, always showing the other guys, where to go and he made some great actions. Zlatan made nice dribbles. I simply love this guy, for taking the ball, and when he has it, you know something spectacular happens. All in all, a decent win, with nice goals!

Fabio Capello: “We tried to do something a bit different with three defenders and three strikers, moving our centre of gravity further forward. It created a few problems for Udinese and perhaps at 2-0 we rather rested on our laurels. The Press has said some terrible lies about my rapport with Alessandro Del Piero, serving only to create controversy.”
