no please!
The guy plays one bad game and because of it he should never get another chance? Ok, he was a bit worse than bad against Palermo, but he has shown potential and needs to play if that potential is to be realised.

Buffon

Zebina - Thuram - Cannavaro - Zambrotta

Camoranesi - Emerson - Blasi - Olivera

Trezeguet - Ibrahimovic

I think Capello might be inclined to play Trezeguet after he scored against Sweden on Wednesday.
I still don't think Trezeguet deserves to start this match. If Del Piero had played as poorly as Trez did against Samp and Palermo but scored for his country in midweek he would still be left out of the starting line-up and everyone would be saying that that's the way it should be, but when it's Trez the situation is completely different.

This is something I get extremely pissed about. Olivera has one horrid game and everybody is calling for his head. That is something I hate about this club and the fans, they never let the new or young players get a fair go of it. Olivera has one bad match and everybody says get rid of him while Del Piero is praised and started no matter what, even when he does sweet FA. This is one of the reasons I like Capello, he has the balls to play the youngsters and whoever deserves to be out out there. Give Olivera a chance FFS.

I agree with you, we shouldn't give up on Olivera because of one match. This is somewhat irrelevant but why was DP brought up though? Kinda unfair to him imo because he gets the same treatment Oli is receiving from a good set of fans. One bad game and people want them to be sold.

DP was brought up because the people who say out with Olivera want Del Piero to stay forever and ever. Thats why.

Ok, but quite a few fans treat DP the same way some people are treating Olivera right now. Speaking of Oli and DP, I think both of them should start this one. They are two of the better passers on this team and Ale still has a little bit of creativity left in him, while Oli is one of our bright sparks in midfield.

I'm still rooting for the trident.Give Neddy the freedom to work the spaces with Camo or Olivera, play 2 DMs and start with DP and Zlatan supporting Trezeguet.

After two losses I'd be gutted if we threw another game away without trying something new to kickstart our season again. In this crucial stage of the season,I say go for broke and fight fire with fire.If Udinese are gonna take the game to us with their attractive attacking play then we should do the same.Besides,if we win using the same formation and tactics we used the last two weeks, chances are it's going to be scrappy and won't do much for us in the long term.

This will be an extremly important game. If we loose it, we can declare an official crisis and scudetto and CL will be probably out of reach. If we win, we will recuperate confidence and awareness....

I didn't mean he shouldn't get another chance anymore.though the match against Palermo wasn't his only bad match of the season.against Palermo, all of his passes, his free kicks, his corners were crap.you think he can change it in a week?

this is what I hate about you and the other DP bashers.here if a DP fan say his opinion about Trez,Zlatan,Olivera,or every one else, you would relate it to DP and make that old discussion new.I can't say I don't want to see Olivera in the first strating line up just because I'm a dp fan?...
IMO Olivera is the most overrated player at Juve.
I never say DP should play all the matches and never blame Capello because of Alex recent situation.I just can't understand some of his decisions like keep that awful Trez against Palermo until the end of the match but doesn't give Ale this chance more than 60 minutes even if he's playing good.

Since every thing you guys bring forward benefits DP I only think its fair for us to to draw paralels with him when were trying to bring up a discussions and arguments. Don't you think?

He had an off day, even the best players have them. With Kapo and Nedved unavailable I see no other choice but to start Olivera and to tell you the truth I wouldn't mind starting him even if Kapo and Nedved were fit.

after a absolutely horrid perforance last week, letting olivera start is a bad mistake. come on delpiero dont play shit like that and he is on the bench, olivera has to sit-out this match to teach him a lesson and obviously he'll improve after that and try to get back in the starting line-up, this can only make juve better.

Zambrotta: “We’re ready for Sunday”

At the press conference, Gianluca Zambrotta analysed the moment the Bianconeri are going through after two defeats, at home against Sampdoria and last Saturday in Palermo: “They were only two incidents, it’s an unlucky moment; every time our opponents aim at the net they score. We must say that we created many scoring occasions against Sampdoria, while in Palermo we started the match with the wrong attitude, then we had a talk in the locker room and the second half was better than the first”.
When he was asked if it depends on a general problem of physical condition, which affected Juventus after the Christmas break, Zambrotta replied: “I don’t think so. In Parma and Cagliari our performance was good and we conceded goals only five minutes before the end. On the other hand, I think that the secret is facing the match with an attitude unlike the last few weeks’, starting the game well. Anyway, we’ve learned the lesson.”
So it’s time for a new start, as of next Sunday’s home challenge: “By the way, we’ve lost two matches and Milan had done the same, so we’re even. What’s important is to stop it here! The match against Udinese will be an important test. We must get back on winning!”
