Why not play 3men defense? Playing with our disastrous Full-backs is not helping anymore. Why not risk it since nothing is working for us? I can't I swear I can't take watching Motta/Grygera/Grosso anymore, my heart hurts and my pressure goes even worse watching them.

Buffon

Bonucci - Chiellini - Barzagli

Krasic - Sissoko - Melo - Marchisio

Aquilani

Martinez - Del Piero

I like that formation Rab but it would mean Krasic would have to play much more defensively, and I think it takes a lot of time for a formation like this to work. I still remember the days when Zach used to try it and it failed miserably.

I was thinking about it the other day, a three man defence should work because our full back are seriously not football players. When you are paid that much you just don't go ball watching and ball watching is what pur full backs do.

    Nice formation.

It didn't work for Zach because our midfielders were all awful last year. Krasic wouldn't have to defend if we attack. We are going to force them to defense and it's the best thing to do since they play on the counters, we need ball possession and without Full-backs we might be able to control the middle for once.

Di Natale and Sanchez would ring bells around Motta/Grygera/Grosso. Lets attack them, 3men defense, all capable of defending and marking while Aquilani playing as our playmaker.

Don't remind me. Against Napoli, all crosses came from Grygera's side while he was viewing how pretty the ball was and last night, well, lets not talk about it or I'll faint if I continue.

Right, attack is the best defense. But do you think it can work with our team? Are we good enough to control 60 or 70 percent of possession? Because that's what really worries me. I'm just not convinced we're good enough to take the game to the other team and our results this season prove it.

When we attack our opponent, we're usually doing it at home and we have one of the worst home records in Serie A. Our best results come when we play away from home when we're defending and playing conservatively. I know it's unfortunate, but I guess it is what it is.

I'm not either TBH, but we really can't keep on playing with those Full backs, they're forcing the entire team to play differently, even Bonucci had to play two roles last night because he couldn't really depend on Motta. Vucinic was double marked because of Motta's limited talent.

With Sissoko/Marchisio/Melo all together in the middle, they're surely not going to have an easy access on us. That's for sure. But you need a coach with balls to do that especially after our recent show. Del Neri has no balls unfortunately.

It's definitely worth a try given that we aren't exactly doing well right now. Like you said, Del Neri is too chicken shit to try anything new, but I hope he changes something in the team because if we continue the season playing the way we did against Roma; we'll be lucky to see 8th place.

I like this formation, but the defence will suffer when Udine attacks, cuz Krasic's defence skills isn't something good.
But instead of Sissoko, put Marchisio there and set Pepe on the left. He can always fall back as LB and Barzagli can take the RB when they have the ball
