well he has won almost every cup imaginable. if that isnt genius i dont know what is.
Coaches don't win cups, players do and who has Capello been successful with? Real, Juve, an amazing Milan team and the best Roma side we've seen in a while. Capello is an excellent disciplinarian and organiser but tactically he can't touch Mourinho or Hiddink.

LOL

oh as soon as a team wins its the players, but when a team loses its the coach right?

look at teams with world class players/squads who dont perform well. eg. inter and real madrid right now.

Exactly. People here seem to think that came all by itself.
I said that Capello isn't a tactical genius and he isn't. He's a very good manager but that's down to his disciplinary skills, not his tactics. When has Cap ever been known for his tactical class? Never. He gets a good bunch of players, puts them together and gets results out of them. As I said, he's a very good manager, but tactically he isn't that great.

We wouldn't have a Championship Manager/Football Manager game if players played on their own and coaches are only decorations :D
