It's not a matter of gelling; it's a matter of two small forwards up front which doesn't make too much sense since both prefer starting from the 3/4 of th epitch, therefore with them together we would not have a lone striker up front ready to pounce on the ball.

i'm getting impatient for this match to start..... it's been 2 weeks of break and ........ i'm satrving for this.....

not to mention butterflies in the stomache abt how our team has been dealing with/correcting the poor state in which we finished 2003. Pls solve the problem..... pls.... especially the defence.

I'm still hoping that we'll get a good defender before the transfer market closes again, because quite frankly our defence isn't good enough to last a whole season when aiming for major glories like the CL and lo Scudetto. Maybe the boys can prove me wrong.. I hope they do.

This is line-up that I think we can expect to see on Tuesday:

Buffon - Thuram/Tudor, Ferrara, Montero - Birindelli, Appiah, Maresca, Zambrotta - Nedved - Del Piero, Trezeguet

If Thuram isn't fit and Lippi doesn't feel that he can rely on Tudor I reckon we'll see something more like the following:

Buffon - Birindelli, Ferrara, Montero, Zambrotta - Camoranesi, Appiah, Maresca - Nedved - Del Piero, Trezeguet

So for tomorrow's match, Legro and Tacchinardi are deffo out. Thuram and Davids will mostly likely be on the bench as they are not fully fit yet.

Hope Maresca plays in the middle.

We usually hit our peak right after X-mas and keep up until the season ends, hope we do that starting from Tuesday against Perugia.

Hope Miccoli has the chance to face his ex-teammates too, I've got the feeling he will score past Kalac. Del Piero too has a good record against the Umbrians with 6 goals scored.

Perugia will definetely be without the suspended Grosso (who scored against us).

We're still unlucky with injuries, even the winter break didn't serve us well to recover some players like Tacchinardi and Thuram. But hopefully, they will be back soon.

Legro will be unavailable i heard so Tudor could probably take is place i guess.

I want Oddo and Lucio during this transfer window hopefully :/

finally some Serie A action ! Hopefully Juve start 2004 with not only a win but also a solid all round performance.

perugia is yet to get a win this season.....so maybe that's good news to us. only a win, and nothing else.....
