Well, the most positive aspect was the performance of del piero!!! He definitely needed this kind of performances to raise his morale.
well, maybe all he needed was a bit of competition.....now that he's not guaranteed a starting place. he just wants to show lippi what he can do when he's up to it....:D

forza juve....gr8 win for us! i expected 2-0, but another 2 wudnt harm the score sheets :D plus, it's good to be on winning ways again.....

Before the match started, Juve fans unfurled a banner with ‘Grazie Boca’ written on it :D

Anyway it was a magnificent performance by our players, we made the most of our chances in the match and deservedly ended up 4-0 victors. Our midfield was sturdy and blocked all Parma players before even reaching the danger zone. While our defence and GK didn’t have much to do, but still looked sharp.

Parma were just the victims of our awakening.

After scoring the first goal Parma opened up a little bit to fight back and leaved spaces that were pleasantly exploited by Zambro, Miccoli, Nedved, and Di Vaio and that lead to the second goal before the end of the first half.

At least Parma’s young captain learned a valuable lesson today: ‘Blink an eye infront of Miccoli and you will only catch the back of him, celebrating a goal’.

Miccoli scored both: with his left foot and right foot. And in both occasions showed great control of the ball before slotting it inside the net – beating both an outstretched Ferrari and a static Frey.

Leading at halftime was a big help and we only needed to continue with where we left off, complete control of the match.

Morfeo was a complete b!tch for moaning to the ref after every other whistle. Grow-up Interista washup.

Del Piero’s magic was nevertheless witnessed again in this match .. against Olympiakos he steped in and boom scores from the first touch .. against Parma he steps in and does the trick again !! Forza Capitano :touched:

A special mention also goes to Neddy and Maresca for an outstanding match :star: !!

Next on the list: Lecce.

im so so so happy! but i was surprised not to see camo or appiah on the bench, maybe the camera didn't show them.

well, now dp dv and miccoli will be fighting for a place since lippi has 'dropped' the rotation system and YES, finally he listened to our cries- BRING ON ENZO MARESCA

yeah, there was this time when montero was getting all 'flashy' in the parma area where he could've just cleared the ball. it could have proved costly.

but lets not dwell on the past. four goals is enough to make a juventino's day

    Juventus 4 - 0 Parma
    Miccoli 10, 31 (J), Del Piero 70 (J), Nedved 72 (J)
    Stadio Delle Alpi

Juventus prove they are over their recent crisis by thrashing Parma 4-0 with Fabrizio Miccoli the star of the show.

Juve got back on track midweek with a 7-0 Champions' League win over Olympiakos, but needed to restore their Serie A form after two consecutive defeats.

That European performance was enough to ensure Enzo Maresca, Fabrizio Miccoli and ex-Parma hero Marco Di Vaio earned first team shirts at the expense of Mauro Camoranesi and Alessandro Del Piero.

David Trezeguet and Lilian Thuram are out with ankle injuries, so Juventus adapted to a three-man defence.

Parma have done well despite Adriano's absence and Alberto Gilardino was on fine form following his brace at Lecce last week.

The Gialloblu have won here only once, a 4-2 result in 1999 that forced Marcello Lippi to resign.

It took just ten minutes for Lippi's choices to pay off, as Miccoli broke the deadlock. Pavel Nedved charged down the right flank and cut back for Miccoli's low drive at the near post.

The Czech international was a risk for this game as he has been suffering with flu this week, but his fierce effort forced Sebastien Frey into a difficult save.

Miccoli made it two when he sprung the offside trap on a lifted Maresca pass, then placed a powerful and precise angled drive past Frey.

There was more bad news for Parma when Daniele Bonera, who has been tipped for a move to Turin next season, limped off with an injury before half-time.

Gilardino tried to get them back into it, but his turn and volley was well controlled by Gianluigi Buffon.

Miccoli was on a hat-trick and drilled a fine effort wide of the far post at the dawn of the second half.

There were timid penalty appeals when Mark Iuliano appeared to hold back Gilardino, but the referee waved play on.

A free kick was deflected out to the edge of the box and Nedved's volley was inches off target.

Alessandro Del Piero was left on the bench following his recent disappointing performances, but he made quite an entrance by scoring one minute after stepping on to the field. The captain gathered Maresca's pass and placed an angled drive into the far corner.

The floodgates were opened and Del Piero skipped past Paolo Cannavaro before cutting back for Nedved's fierce daisy-cutter.

Maybe our captain should start from the bench every time from now on ;)

What I want to know is WHAT was it that made us alive and kicking again? Was it the mobile attack, was it the return of Zambrotta, was it Maresca, did Parma suck soo much, lucky day, Lippi finally found the gutts to sub the underperformars ... ?

Well.. our defence could not be the most reliable in the tournament.... But what satisfy me most... is that we can realy on our strikers... in all of them!.

It feels so good to have plenty of attackers who can score, while other teams have just one in most of the cases.

Miccoli.... great moves, great definitions!. He did wondefull goals.. like the nes he did against OLI. He will be a good Bianconeri for sure.

It was evident that the players wanted to forget about the defeats with a good performance and a win here in Serie A .. but the real reason, I think, is Lippi's selection of players .. he threw the rotation system out of the window and went with choosing players on top form, i.e. Maresca, Miccoli in favour of Appiah and Del Piero. Legro was also left out.

Zambrotta is also an obvious welcome and even though didn't do well as expected upfront but he covered the left flank superbly.

Parma really really dissapoints me... dont expect this performance form one of Serie A bigger clubs..:undecide:

anyway a good night for our team...totally took control of the match... Parma hardly have the ball to create anything whatsoever...nevermind buffon, i was struggling to see how the NEW 3 backline was doing as Parma attack never got pass midfiled...as if we raised zambrotta and birindelli to the mid and build a defence line there...

cruise control all the way to the 4 goal...

good match also for DP....:thumb: ...hehehe....hope Lippi wont overreact and start him over Miccoli as .tonite IMO, Miccoli is our MoM..;)

both Miccoli and Maresca used the most of the last 2 starts given too them.. in my book They both have already book their name in Juventus starting eleven....now its turn for Del Piero, and Appiah to slug it out for a place... and i can safely say bye bye Mr Edgar Davids...we have Meresca now...:)

Also my favourite tact 3412 had a great debut tonite..:extatic:

we are no longer blank with ideas as the goals were coming like water...i am looking forward to see who will be our new right wingback next year...:lookingforward:
